by Mack. Great job for him and I hope he takes advantage of this. I know there were some doubters(even from the SLC camp), but he has done a great job at every opportunity thus far.

The kid is making the most of a great opportunity and kudos to him for doing it. He just needs to keep playing like he has and he should be fine. With Fozzy, McGee, Monroe and Newton and a coordinator that is willing to call run plays we could get well beyond having our QB lead the team in rushing.

In my opinion, based on what i saw from him in Texas practices, he is the most complete back on the team. I know its still so early to say that, but he runs hard and with a purpose. He also is amazing at blitz pickup and is the best on the team on 3rd down.

Tre should be starting. Coming from a huge fan of Vondrell - he's simply not the man - and is far less adept at pass-catching and blocking. Not sure what's up with Fozzy.

Very happy for Tre - his hard working is paying off.

I dont disagree with the blocking aspect of McGee's game to this point, but as far as running and pass catching, he is actually very good...he averages right at 5 yds per carry and recieving isn't bad considering where the bulk of the distribution is going to go..ie.. WR's. I also like Monroe as well...Fozzy is a bit banged up right now and could possibly miss this week as well.

Like I stated earlier, with Fozzy, Newton, McGee and Monroe, I like that we aren't looking to have Colt as the leading rusher this season, though if we dont get blocking assignments down, he may be forced to accumulate yards.
