Lets forget the defensive worries, Flozell's idiocy and the slow start. If TO were here we'd have had some big plays today.:D

we'd have heard about his lack of involvement in the offense, for sure. of course gr may yet do that too, considering his recent history.

The 'Boys didn't have any false starts today!
It's probably been years since that has happened!
You know what else didn't happen? Romo didn't throw an interception or fumble a ball away. This is a rarity for Romo, an extreme rarity.

Another thing that I noticed about Tony today, is how well he protected the ball when he stepped up in the pocket. He did a fine job of spreading the ball around.

Yep...Tony played very well today in all facets of the game, thought he distributed the ball well, made good reads, protected the ball..etc.
One game at a time..lets see where it goes...that was a close game for 3 qtrs and really it shouldn't have been, but this is the type of team the Cowboys should beat and did beat.

Yeah. We had three really big plays and I think we have a receiving corp capable of making big plays. The more the defenses have to respect Good Roy and Company the more holes open up for Felix and Marion. A big negative I saw today though was the defensive front. Tampa averaged 5.6 yards a carry today and the Cowboys had ZERO sacks, that is just awful! The secondary didn't play that great either, they managed to make Leftwich look like a respectable quarterback.
I guess the bottom line is that we seemed to find something with the offensive and we managed to win a game we should have won. Curious to see how they come out against the Giants next weekend.

A win is a win, but I'm not sold on this team.
I think the road to the playoffs is going to be a difficult one.
Tampa ran it down their throats. Big B. Jacobs is lickin his chops right now.
Romo is going to have a lot more pressure on him this coming week.
I would like to see Felix get a screen or two and some more touches.
Romo has to make the throw on the fade to Marty B. as well.
That was a simple throw...throw it up just like Marty said.
Jenkins looked like he's going to get picked on a lot this season as well.
I hope the media doesn't tear Tony apart this year....

Threw 27 pass attempts to 7 different receivers. That, along with a more productive running game, exactly how they'll absorb the Owens production.

The only real negative for Tony was his accuracy in the first half and that was very unusual because he throws a very consistent ball. The confusion from the offense in the first half was a bit unsettling but the Boys are really changing their philosophy and the entire playbook is actually open this season. I think they'll end up, barring injury, a top 5 unit.
The defense, on the other hand .........

The media is going to do what they do, attempt to sell subscriptions and get hits on their sites. I read most everything but about 5% of it is actual reporting and another 5% insightful writing. The rest of it could be replicated by any number of posters on this board. Tony needs to have a good December and get a playoff win. If he does that the only thing they'll have on him is the lack of a Super Bowl.
