Georgia, UNC, and Utah drop after winning? Only in college football.... only in college football.

All 3 barely held on to win against mediocre opponents, so that is why they dropped.

Good to see Cougar High and Michigan jump up in there.

I would put Alabama over USC...other than that, I think the top 5 is right on.

It's good to see 5 Big 12 teams in there as well, along with Tech, Missouri and Baylor in the "others" group. It sucks that only 6 of the 7 are on our schedule this season.

I think the Big XII is as a group pretty far down this year. Right now, I don't see anyone getting in the way of your 'Horns.

True..And I dont expect that all those teams will be ranked when we play them anyway, as is the case with Tech this week.

I would guess that only Texas, Nebraska and Oklahoma will be ranked by seasons end.

I dont know if it was really not to be expected, I thought the Domers were overrated to begin with.:)

If one of us took the time to search...I think that was my position to begin with...:)

Yeah, it's pretty bad. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State losing within the first two weeks sucks pretty bad considering the pre-season hype and expectations. The BCS computers are not going to be kind to Texas if there are more than two undefeated teams and Texas is one of them.

Okie State can still rebound. UH is far better than anyone thought, and this was a classic trap game after the big win against UGA. They aren't going to challenge for the South, but I can still see them finishing 3rd or even 2nd and in the top 25.

If Texas runs the table, they will play for the NC. Mark it.

Counting the result with the Cougars, (which I didn't to begin the season) I see 3 losses for Okie Lite and I dont know if that gets them in the final top 25, but you may be correct.

I think it will. 9-3 in a BCS conference is well within the range of the bottom half of the top 25.

It may well depend on how they lose (if they do) those games as well. Home losses are brutal on rankings, especially if beaten badly.
