It's feast or famine for our friends down south. They've been experiencing extreme drought conditions the last couple of summers only to get flooded by recent storms. I'm sure they aren't complaining. Here's hoping some of the rain run-off fills up the much depleted lakes. Be safe South Texans.

Everyone knows that droughts in Texas are broken by floods. That's what we're having now. I won't complain. I want this drought gone.

Will post again if I hear anything else.

Current Houston radar...as of 5:10pm...

It looks like most of the storms are west of Katy and moving further WNW. So far so good for Harris County...

Hope you boy's drought has ended. I was down there a few weeks ago and the golf courses were in bad need of rain. Every creek at La Cantera was bone dry.

In El Paso, the heavy rains are over, pretty much. Still some scattered storms and some thunder, but nothing that would threaten any games.

Baaad weather rolling through Southlake! Lot's of rain, lightening, etc. Started to the game and turned around and came back home...my guess is it won't start on time....Feel bad for Bellaire...long trip for a possible cancellation.

10 minute deluge before kickoff at Woodforest then perfect football weather after that. mid 60's with the breeze it felt like. No delays. But we all missed the anthem because band instruments had to take cover.
