I'm 48, a country music fan all my life, a native Texan, and I've never heard of this dude. I looked up his bio and his accomplishments read like any of a thousand other touring band members. What's the big deal, or is it just a Gulf Coast thing?

if you're 48, a country music fan, read this guy's bio, and STILL don't know what famous song he sang....you need help

I've heard 5 million different versions of "Cotton-Eyed Joe", but this guy isn't one of them. Of course, it's an instrumental, isn't it, mostly, so I probably have no idea who is playing the darn thing when I hear it.
