40% chance of T-Storms in the DFW area tonight, just like last week... *sigh*. We seem to be stuck in an unfortunate weather pattern in which T-Storm pop up at the same time each week.
I wonder, if there is a delay tonight in the Garland - Lake Highlands game, will the teams actually finish this game tomorrow since LH is only about 15 minutes away?

Not unfortunate for those of us in central Texas. I'll take the rain any way I can get it.

Yeah no joke. Talk about a drought. Seems to be rain here all through the weekend in SA too.

Wouldn't bother me one bit.
Need the rain, and I could actually go to a Friday night game, screw all these Thursday nights.

Love the rain, not the lightning. And not at 7 pm on Thursday and Friday. But I hear ya. Just want to see some football tonight...

If they delay or postpone, and decide to continue and not just cancel, likely they would play on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. Friday nights are all booked up. Maybe Saturday?
All the Thursday games are a pain - have you seen Lakeview schedule? Every district game except their last one is on a Thursday night. Sheesh...

Would never wish for a Hurricane.......ever. Maybe a monsoon????? Have you seen Lake Travis? 50 feet below full, and falling. Yes, we will take the rain.

Hear that ... a year ago at this very minute I was making a dead sprint out of Houston bound for a four-day stay in Fort Worth. I am very happy not to be doing THAT again. :)
That said, I don't mind the rain. We need it here too. As long as it's just rain, I'm good.

yes I have seen it --- my son lives in Austin -- maybe some of the ranchers needing hay because of the drought can cut some at the lake -- the grass is fairly green in what used to be the lake bottom

Damn, I didn't think about that. In that case, Garland might as well get the game in on time tonight. Guess the SG game will be my first chance to check em out this year.

Could have a repeat of last weeks cancellation of Abilene High game. 60% chance of storms on Friday and Saturday in Abilene for the cross town showdown.

Rain around the Dallas area, no lighting that I know of ... hopefully some of freshman/jv games get played.
The weather has not been kind to the Thursday night games so far this season.

That is a shame for them. I know our JV Silver was playing and it started raining, not sure if they finished or not. We were bad and turned around and headed back to the house.

Carroll managed to get in three sub-varisty games last night; two freshman games against Trinity feeder schools and a JV game against Everman. Some light rain on and off, but no rain delays and more importantly, no lightning delays.
