If Obama and the Dems want something akin to a British style system for medical care, then perhaps a House of Commons type of reply such as this is also appropriate. :D

I guess the obama lie about illegals not being covered by obamacare (which is clearly in the bill) was the straw that broke the camels back...

It's hard when A. obama doesn't know whats in the bill, or B. Knows and just lies about whats in the bill...either way, I'm sure Wilson would rather not have blurted out what most were thinking...

Are illegals covered in the bill?

pied

Apparently not.

OBAMA: "The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally." One congressman, South Carolina Republican Joe Wilson, shouted "You lie!" from his seat in the House chamber when Obama made this assertion. Wilson later apologized.

THE FACTS: The facts back up Obama. The House version of the health care bill explicitly prohibits spending any federal money to help illegal immigrants get health care coverage. Illegal immigrants could buy private health insurance, as many do now, but wouldn't get tax subsidies to help them. Still, Republicans say there are not sufficient citizenship verification requirements to ensure illegal immigrants are excluded from benefits they are not due.

If most were thinking that as well, it appears they were wrong.

It would seem, however we will have a new catch phrase to use.

"YOU LIE!"

Wonder if it will be as popular and as played as Harry Reid's "AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Of course they are being dishonest. We will cover the uninsured, remain deficit neutral, and there will not be rationing. We will just sprinkle some Hugo Obama magic dust and it will all work out. And oh by the way the bill doesn't intend to cover non-citizens... ehhh but we left out the part where you have to demonstrate citizenship. sweet. ;)

Since whenever, the dems have been using the figure 45 million un-insured as those they considering covering in the grand marxist plan. Last night I believe they used the figure of 30 million. Did they cut out proposed coverage of the illegals or are they just telling lies???:)

Not unexpected I think.

CNN) -- Less than a day after Rep. Joe Wilson formally apologized to President Obama over his "you lie" outburst, a campaign aide confirms that the South Carolina Republican has raised "more than $200,000" in the wake of the now-infamous moment.

News of that cash haul comes after Wilson directly asked in a Web video for campaign cash to fend off attacks from political opponents and said he's standing by his opposition to Democratic efforts at health care reform.

"On these issues, I will not be muzzled, I will speak up and speak loudly against this risky plan," Wilson said in a YouTube video released Thursday evening. "The supporters of the government takeover of health care and the liberals who want to give health care to illegals are using my opposition as an excuse to distract from the critical questions being raised about this poorly conceived plan."

The congressman disbursed the video via Twitter and asked his followers to "please watch and pass on."

Name me a president who isn't? Do you remember:
- "Weapons of Mass Destruction" charts and graphs?
- "I never had sex with that woman"
- Iran/Contra (like Schultz, "I know NOTHING!")
- hmmmm, what did Carter lie about.....
- Ford, well, I guess, hmmmmm, mebbe about why he pardoned Nixon?
- Watergate?

That's probably enough. Now, each of you, what did you say in each case? Were you partisan, or were you honest?

Right now, I see any 'potential' lie from Obama as small potato'e's compared to some others.

The dems have the civility not to yell out their idiot $@%^ in the middle of a freaking address before congress. That's where the outrage stems from. Name calling ain't new, it goes back to founders. You don't however interrupt the president when he is before congress.
