Apparently, Aaron Brooks has been babbling on the radio that the Saints intend to draft Vince Young with the #2 pick.

hopefully they are just trying to get the Titans to trade up. That is usually how these teams work. They say stuff to get people interested. I remember Jerry Jones doing the same thing where he said that he was going to pick Jammer at number 6 no matter what and had always wanted Roy Williams. This may be wishful thinking, but I hope that it is true.

Is there any chance that the Saints can permanently move to San Antonio and thus making Vince only a 2 hour drive from Austin.

No the saints would have to build a practice facility close to the Alamodome. They would also not be able to have a volleyball tournament there during football season. Those were the two reasons that there was no high school football there this season

well with the saints possibly moving to LA why would they make all this permanet stuff in SA?? i guess its all complex..if they make a long term deal type thing where they build that practice complex and what not then yeah its fine but..everything is up in air

I wish they would stay here in SA but that dumb Tagliabue thinks that SA is a small market and we are on the short list on franchises. I would like to ask the commish about the fan base there in Louisiana. Sure I know that they are still trying to recover from the problems there, but at the Saints games they averaged at least 30,000 fans while over here in SA they sold out almost all 3 games and had over 60,000 fans attend and we gave them a huge amount of support during those games and the players loved it here. So I guess were too good enough for Tagliabue to consider us for a franchise team because we sure can support them.

Vince owns that city...
At least that's what Herbstreit said after the Rose Bowl.
Of course...he's the same guy that picked aggy to win the Big XII.

....NOT ENOUGH MARKET!!??
I live in SA and I've never seen such crazy basketball fans. Even Mavs fans don't get this jacked up about it. They sell out every home game and those who couldn't get in go to the sports bars and watch it. Not enough market...pfff. Wait, Tagliabue, shouldn't you be fired by now?? Or is that Bud Selig?... Probably both of you.

and Ohio State to win NC. That guy is nothing more than a pretty face with those metro highlights. Refresh my memory why you didn't become a franchise QB in the NFL...
