watch this and tell me who has a great band....:notworthy:notworthy:notworthy
I've always enjoyed the show that the Allen Band puts on, they are very big, but are also very good.

If we could pick our own, I'd obviously put Carroll's around the top with some others, but Carroll's is definately good and unique as well.

Um, that video clip is from 2003! No question, L.D. Bell HS has the best halftime show I've ever seen....2 yrs in a row. Also 2nd in Bands of America Grand Championship this year and I think 3rd last year.

I loved Southlake Carroll's half time performance at playoff games with the trash cans last year. Very fun

Thought I'd share some Georgia Bands
This is one of the bands I have found to be up to par with a lot of the Texas bands, They are very very good live and have a rich history (show band). The Georgia Bridgemen (Lowndes High) they also have a heck of a football team as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k40IcXvFBZA&feature=related
And last but not least....... "SWD" Southwest Dekalb! The band from the movie drumline (played as Atlanta A&T University)

I know the band director's will appreciate these comments. Thanks by proxy. ;)
I love the performances as well, the kids have fun, and this year everybody got involved. TEAMme throughout. It's good after working the kids hard for the contests to let them participate and let their hair down. I absolutely loved when the whole stands stood up and enjoyed it. :D
