Don't know the folks in Gainsville but I'm sure they are fine Texans and Americans. :)

The Scotts Valley High School football program from California enjoyed playing in Alice so much last season that they’re coming back for another meeting against the Coyotes Friday night.
They enjoyed the sight-seeing around Corpus Christi and the King Ranch in Kingsville, they enjoyed the “pachanga” and all-you-can-eat fajitas the community of Alice served up and they enjoyed the hospitality for which Texas is known.
About the only thing that didn’t sit well was their 42-27 loss to the Coyotes in Memorial Stadium. “Last year wasn’t our first time in Texas,” Scotts Valley coach Louie Walters said. “We had played in Texas before when we played against Gainsville, but the people of Gainsville weren’t anything like the people in Alice. The whole community was so friendly and welcoming. We just enjoyed our Alice experience. Of course, we would have liked to have left with a win last year.”
For Scotts Valley, Friday’s game is their first of the season. It’s become a tradition for the program to begin each season with an out-of-state game. In the last five years, they’ve played everywhere from North Texas to Alaska and Hawaii.
Aside from a season-ending playoff loss, the loss to Alice was Scotts Valley’s only loss of the season.
The Falcons went 10-2 last season and won the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League championship.
The Falcons return to Texas with an overall better team. They are without running back Kyle Hardwick, who is now playing at Cabrillo College, but they return a handful of other starters like 6-foot-4 quarterback Blake Jurich, who passed for 1,469 yards last year.
Scotts Valley first agreed to play in Alice last year when former Alice coach Brent Davis and Walters were searching for early-season games to fill their schedule.
