Why dream of it when I'm pretty sure the two schools could make it happen. Now it wouldn't exactly be a UIL sanctioned event but the bragging right would still be there. I'm sure both team would be willing to meet on a Saturday afternoon somewhere to settle the debate.

neither coach would be likely to forfeit their state titles or next year's games for something so off the scale unsanctioned. it is strictly not allowed.

Ok so the coaching staffs don't have to be present at the game. The players could get together down at the local park and just have a nice game of pick up football. As long it was not too widely announced then to the unknown eye it would just look like a bunch of kids playing a game of football at the park.

I know I'm probably one of the few but 7 on 7 doesn't really mean a whole heck of a lot to me. There are a lott of teams that do great in it, but don't do squat when it counts. Just as there are some that are able to carry the success they have in it on to the regular season and so on. I'm not trying to start any trouble here just wishing like so many others than one day soon we won't have to deal with two champions in every classification, but have one undisputed champion.

My personal opinion, I don't think Carter would have the discipline to hang with SLC. Longview would have a shot if they played in the preseason. North Shore last year would've been an interesting game. Converse Judson would have a shot if they played for championship.
