First the Last second td vs. Judson, that was a classic...Then the Waco game, 3OT thriller when Cove stuffed Waco on 4th down....Maybe the AMC game sneaks in their, 21-14 ballgame dominated by the defenses and Tim Atchison, the Baylor commit..

Ya it was a great game. A Lufkin dominated second quarter, then the next 18 minutes were dominated by Cove...The final 6 went to Lufkin when they pulled away with a 38-28 win...But still the Judson, AMC, and Waco games were much tighter

consol vs. heights and consol vs. shoemaker were both great comebacks....

the heights game was amazing.... caleb carters jumping catch in the endzone with less than 10 seconds left to win it was spectacular

Carroll vs. Grapevine 28-23 - was the closest game the Dragons had all year...a good old neighborhood rivalry....

Judson will also be in there for the Westfield game. Maybe the Trinity game, too. It could've been worse and it could've been closer.

That was one crazy week of football in NE Tarrant county. SGP and Trinity played one whale of a game at pennington that same night. SGP played the perfect game and was able to shock the state and metroplex by defeating Trinity. The game was not in doubt till under 2 minutes left. I remember leaving Pennington and listening to the end of the Carroll/Grapevine game on the radio while driving to Billy Bobs. I also believe that Plano had a close game that week I can't remember if that was the FMHS game or not, but it was a close one.

Lufkin and Cove was a good game because it was so highly wanted to happen. I think the game itself was above average, but not a top game. I could be wrong, the Cove noisemakers could be what ruined it for me. Nothing like looking around and seeing thousands of shakers louder and bigger than I thought possible.

lufkin vs. heights it was crazy heights playing with lufkin who woulda thunk it right i did 31 to 24 in OT when we were 33 point underdogs i cry about it to this day

NS v. Woodlands was OK (actually I wasn't there!) but I prefer the NS v. Westfield in the 2nd round! 14-12 North Shore with about 3 minutes left in the game before Westfield broke it open. AWESOME atmosphere with people sitting on the hills at the 2nd best stadium in Houston (I still prefer Stallworth!)
