Just announced that we're the 'game of the week' for Friday Football Frenzy--Randy McIlvoy really built it up as the "great rematch". Nice, tv crews.

Heard that form the coaches earlier today. They also said an expected crowd of near 15,000 on hand at Rhodes? -- thats just a rumor. i am excited for this game and glad to be apart of an out-of-district rivalry!

Holy cow, guess I better leave early. Maybe I'll follow the band buses. Hadn't heard if a lot of Woodz people would be going or not. Wish I could take a 1/2 day off and stop off a Katy Mills mall before the game. :D

The North Shore-Katy game set a record attendance for Rhodes. They were turning people away.
Rhodes can hold 12-13 k at the absolute max.
I don't think there will be as many for The Woodlands because it is a Friday night and not everyone will be able to make it from work. Also, there are several other games in the area so you will not have near the walk up crowd that Katy-NS had when options were limited on a Saturday night.

But isn't this really the 4th game in a row? I remember the Katy/Woodz games 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. I think it will be a good game.

If im right. I believe it's on a Friday. If NS first home game wasn't the same day, I'd go to this game.

Seriously doubt it. They turned fans away at the gates at Rhodes last weekend. TexasBob says the capacity of Rhodes is a little less than 10,000. I dont know where you'll stick an extra 5,000 people.

They say it was 12000 at the North Shore game....and like you say, they turned a lot of people away, I know several people got tired of looking for somewhere to park and left. This game is on a Friday, rush hour.....don't think the crowd(on the visitor side) will be as big as North Shore's and I don't think this game has as mutch casual intrest as the Katy/NS game.
HOWEVER, we would love for EVERYONE to come out next week and support TEXAS at the Bellevue game.

I think it's now pushed up to 7:00 pm.
As much as I really, really want to go, driving 60 miles after working all day, in 5 o'clock traffic on I-10W does not appeal to me. Laying on my couch in pajamas listening on the radio, sounds better...but I hate missing the action, so I'll probably go. :)

KISD kicks are always at 7. I know the north siders opt for 7:30 like most of the state.
