Question, Do the coaches nominate players for the player of the week or does DMN look at the stats and pick the winner and the honorable mentions?
Congrats to Tommy Avers at SLC for a great game, the week 0 winner for offense.

I believe that the coaches nominate players from their team. I seem to recall there being instances when a big time performance did not make the list and that was the reason given.

Pied is exactly right. I am wonderign if Coach Erwin did not nominate any of his players. Degan Newsome had a pretty impressive game against Grapevine last week returning 2 kickoffs for TD's. One of 95 yards and the other of 85 and had another 60 yard return. He also caught some passes and had a few carries too. Glad to see Marcus using Degan. That kid is dangerous.
