I started a group at Fox Sports for us to play Fox Sports Pro Football Pick'em this year.
Each week all the games involving teams in the NFL will be listed. You will pick the winners straight up, no line. Then, after you make your picks, you weigh your picks by assigning a value to your confidence that a certain team will win a particular game.
For instance, in a certain week there may be 15 games. After you make your picks, let's say that Dallas is playing Detroit and you are most confident that Dallas will win that game above all others on the list...then you assign a value of 15 to that game. Let's also assume that Philadelphia is playing The Giants that week and you are most unsure of the winner of that game than any of the others...then you assign a value of 1 to that game.
It makes you not only make correct picks, but that you also weigh your picks so that you get the most points possible.
