Do you guys ever have those days where you know the weather is lying? Sometimes it seems like it's a lot hotter and other times it seems like it's a lot colder.

They say the wind chill is zero right now, but it feels like -15 or -20. We've had air temperatures of -8, but it seems colder right now.

Lonny, it was like 70 some degrees in North Texas today. And this is mid January.

I don't know about Central and South Texas, but North and West Texas is burning up. Literally! WE NEED RAIN, REAL BAD!

This weather is ticking a lot of people off, I have a idea lets all blame Bush :D

I just enjoy wearing jackets and not having to have the AC on during the day, this has been one weird winter.

I'd rather it be 70 than -20.
But yes some rain would be nice.

On my way to get my haircut I had to drive over Lewisville Lake, that lake is something like 50 feet below average for this time a year. You could see some of the sandbars and other things while driving on I-35.

The weather predictors were calling for a wet, warm winter back in early fall. They got half of it right.

man i found some classic quotes today. my buddy showed me some and i have quite a few I will be adding every week. that one was my favorite and I knew we would have some great men on this website who would appreciate it. I'm sure when I get back from Ray Wylie tonight I should have some more to add, he goes on stage at 11 and this concert is a 5 minute walk from my apt, so I can drink all i want here and not have to spend 3 bucks for a lot of beer while at the concert, gosh life is good.

The city of Dallas said that if we don't get substantial amounts of rain in the next 6 weeks, they are going to begin water rationing the 1st week of March. Unbelievable!

I leave here in 61 hours. It will take about another 34 to get to Longview and I'll have to wait 2 hours in Dallas before I fly into Longview.

If they want to save water, all they need to do is get rid of golf courses and these majestic lawns you see. I'm not anti-golf or anti-yard, but when push comes to shove, that's where you need to give. Oh, yeah. You can do away with those weekly car washes, too.

I checked the Wichita Falls temperature a few weeks ago and couldn't believe it was almost 70. That was the day it was -8 here. Alaska was warmer than it was here and I had to check Greenland to find someplace colder that day.

We've had some days out here in the desert where it's in the upper 20's when I leave for work and it's damn near 70 on the ride home!

When I got out here about this time last year, they told me, "You'll never see this much green out there." I thought to myself...self, what green?

I've grown to appreciate the beauty of West Texas, though. The sunrises and sunsets are really amazing.

I used to hate the scenery until I drove through enough times that it started looking better. I guess that means West Texas is intoxicating!:p
