It's Tuesday.

Tiger lost. No story to report there.

Federer lost. See above.

Apparently, the Yankees didn't play.

SO,

Let's talk about Brett Favre.

I also don't get why you go out and sign Rosenfels and then chase after Favre. I can understand why a team might want his leadership in a back-up role, but not a team that just signed probably the most competent backup in the league. Unless Minn thinks that Favre has one more year of starting and making a playoff run in him, it's a waste of money.

On the bright side, it will make Favre's hall of fame speech one of the more entertaining ones we've ever heard. Can you go into Canton as an independent? Favre may have to explore that option. He may as well go pee on the Lambeau grass at this point.

Who can believe anything he has to say?

It may be that they wanted Favreee there, but as a player I'd have a difficult time in trusting what the HC is telling me. Especially if I happen to be a QB.

Daniel Snyder would sign Quincy Carter if he thought it would get him ahead of the Cowboys( win the Division)

Obviously the Vikes see an opportunity to help the team AND stick it to Green Bay...

I'm sure that is true. However, the Vikes are really gambling on an old, gray QB that hasn't been able to go the distance lately as opposed to some younger guys.

Fact is, Farve is NOT the same player today as the guy who had the great years in Green Bay. I'm just sayin, as a QB I would be questioning the wisdom of the coach and front office.

As I posted before, this is the same franchise that made the one of the worst trades in history. (Herschel for the world.)

We will see when they play the games. I might be surprised, but I doubt it.

He's still better than Rosenfels and Jackson more than likely. Sage had a few good moments in Houston but there's gotta be a reason he's only made 12 starts in 9 years. Jackson's wildy inconsistent. ESPN and the NFL Network are just as much to blame for incessant coverage. I doubt if it was Favre's idea to have Rachel Nichols camp out on his yard (although I wouldnt mind it).

Vikings are reporting surge in season and single game ticket sales, team now has legitimate leader on offense, Deanna gets 12 million this year, and you are jealous:D
