does anyone else watch the Shield with Michael Chiklis? By a long shot, my favorite non- sports show.

I can't help watching Forrest Wittaker ( the internal affairs investigator)and think of him in The Crying Game( Yuk!!!)

oh yeah baby!

the other night's show was twisted, huh.

Do you think Lem's in trouble?

Antwan raises his ugly head again...

I still think the councilman will become an ally some way.

LMAO!!!

sorry, I thought you were implying that you watched it too. Sorry!:)

it is about a tough cop and his crew who fight crime and their inner demons, and the Law's and street's interpretations of right and wrong, while trying to keep the bad guys put away and keep their jobs.

they aren't content to put the bad guys in jail, they punish them.
they aren't satisfied with just doing their jobs, it's always on the edge of being out of control. It gets real twisty combined with good ole politics, and office gossip, and some love/ hate relationships.

LoneRocket does...I haven't

It sounds like a good show though. When does it come on?

slorch
03-02-2006, 07:56 PM
Tuesday on TNT at 9 PM and replays at 10PM

it has also been on Saturday night too as a replay of Tuesday's episode.

It is thick with layered storylines from even 2-3 seasons ago. If you don't "get" something we might be able to help you out. And that goes for everybody else too.

I hope they do not catch Lem in the shower.
I think Aceveda will try to help Lem, because he was trying to get him to flip on Macky.
Man that Jon Kavanaugh is a head case, always looking to put the screws to you.
The second to the last show with Kasper was freak'n funny, I had the same look shane had after that interrogation scene.
Do you think Julien and Tina will hook up?
Man that show is powerful.

slorch
03-03-2006, 10:32 PM
Julien is a trip, I don't think he'd commit to anything but his job.

I haven't had someone make me want to reach into the TV and rip their head off since Clinton was in office, but Cavanaugh does!

I don't think Lem will get much flack because of the strike team's cred, but then again, they might see it as an opening...

I think Mackey's Ex opening up to Cavanaugh is a trap, but then he gave her the cold shoulder and took the money with no deal, so he might not even fall for it.

I love this show. Like I said, by FFFAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR, my favorite non-sports show.

Do you think the Baby is Juliens? Surrogate? Is the name of the prison called Lon-Ploc.

slorch
03-12-2006, 03:18 PM
that is the prison, or something close to that name.

they keep implying the baby is Vic's, but that is too hard to believe he would complicate his already messy personal life... but it is TV.

What did you think about the pics taken in the locker room? i thought it was funny, but that's going to end up getting messy too!

I still think Aceveda(the councilman) will help Vic and his team in some way before it's all said and done.

There's only one more episode, and then the season finale:(

About the pics, I think Dutch is going to be a lucky man.
I think Aceveda is going to be at the wrong place and the right time for Vic.
I love that show.

Vic likes to play mind games, this episode was not as intense, but I am glad the got rid of Billings he reminds me of someone use to work with.

yeah talk about a wet paper sack, Billings was nothing!

I still don't like Vic kissing his lawyer, c'mon, he ain't all that.

He couldn't have "stuck it" in Cavanaugh any better, especially how she answered him, " he made me *** twice." I was rolling!!!

Did you check out the season ending episode? Shane is a little punk, Dutch got some great advise that he is going to try out on Tina, I guess Vic is the Daddy. (it may seem that way)

I like it. it still gets my blood pumping with Cavanough being such an indelible *****.

i think Cavanaugh's confession is a trap

I think Vic is in deep doo-doo with the salvadorans and for going into the bad guys' hooch and kidnapping the ringleader. he would have been dead meat in real life, but oh well.

Bad decision with kidnapping the little helpless pawn Hispanic girl...

I liked Vic ex spilling the beans to turn up the heat on Cavanaugh.

I think the Chief will end up taking Vic down, or allowing him more:eek: leeway with the crime rates multiplied to her precinct.

Acevada is still a little punk.

I still miss Glenn Cloe as the chief.

That's about it, is it Tuesday yet?

Vic has nine lives, I wonder what is going to happen when he figures out it was Shane to murdered Lem. I hope Antwon Mitchell is on this season I like his catch phrases. Maybe they will build the Dutch and Tina storyline.

Have you been keeping up with the show? Shane is a punk and Acevada is running a game on the barn, I can not believe he told that guy about the under cover Fed. Vic lets that gang leader use a throw away phone that he used earlier to call the under cover agent.

yeah, I've been watching.
1. Aceveda is still up to no good. he'll get his in the end.

2. Dutch can be almost cool sometimes, and then he's an insecure little a-hole.

3. How bout another scene with Antoine?

4. Billings is just like a lot of people in real life- so good at his job, he got bored. Now he's working his own agenda( vending machines)

5. Shane messed up. For as tough as he is supposed to be, he cracked under his own pressure. That is crazy to me.

6. Vic can't stay clean. He always does something over the edge to get out of the last mess. i just wonder if the newbie stays out of the way, or out of trouble for that matter.

he is definately a great actor.

as cavanaugh, he made me want to reach through the screen and choke his head off of his shoulders.

Was watching Fast Times at Ridgemont High the other day, and the scene where Spiccoli wrecks Forrest's car is hillarious. hard to imagine him as a tough jock, but Whittaker whooped some tail in that next game.:D

nice of ya to come on board, especially with the season finale this week... ;) :D

I'm still waiting for kavanaugh to come back in the picture. He left like a lamb, after being a ferocious lion on the show.

Vic is still going to stick it to aceveda, and I'll enjoy it.

I was so sorry to see Dutch hurt:rolleyes: , when his little lust toy was getting pounded by the newbie.

There's quite a few loose ends to get closed up, but that is how the writers have always been on this show. It's a perfect show for those of us with short attention spans...:D

Yeah Dutch was set up good by Billinings but I think Dutch is going to put it together because of the cell phone that was stolen.

I think that guy has an angle with that picture of Aceveda, he is gave him money and is his puppet.

Shane is an even bigger punk than I thought. I think the Strike team might have to take him out.

I didn't like it when they showed the previews from the next episodes. looks like Aceveda is going to screw Vic with the blackmail boxes.

Vic is making too many mistakes. Acevada, then Shane... He needs to avoid shane at all costs...

The former chief was freaking hillarious, then he puts his serious "face" on. That was cool.
