go to www.wikipedia.com and type in the name of your city..i typed in southlake, and one of the responses was this

"Southlake residents also have the dubious honor of owning the highest number (per capita) of Hummer2 (H2) vehicles in the world"

'Southlake is also home to the Carroll Dragons. Belonging to the Carroll Independent School District, the Carroll Dragons high school football team has been ranked #1 in the country and has lived up to its claim by winning the state championship in 2005.''

I noticed that too. I guess it is for the H2 comment. I don't think that is true, but you never know.

Says nothing but negative things about Seguin. Got damn my town.

This site makes Lufkin sound like the arm-pit of Texas. How depressing:( I do understand the part about the income being so low...its why I had to move to DFW. Very few high paying jobs in the area and most of those jobs are spread out over a few families.

I laughed when I read the entry about the Woodlands.
It says the Woodlands Waterway is reminiscent of the Riverwalk in SA. I wish!!!
Nobody from here even gets on the stupid "water Taxis."

No nightclubs around it. I guess because it is shaped like the Riverwalk, it is similar. The only thing is that it runs right by the mall( silicone valley) and some of the better restaurants are there on that side of the mall. But it's nothing like the Riverwalk!

I like the Woodlands because of the great schools and because you don't neccessarily feel like you are in a city. The trees and parks make it really nice, with biking/jogging trails ALL OVER.

I was looking at the median income, and I am a little bit short! Oh well, I'll get there eventually!

I typed in my city but nothing new to me came up. Everyone that lives in Allen pretty much knows this but you guys may not-Allen is the place of the first train robbery back in 1878.

Some other historical facts that came up were:
1999 bomb threats at AHS (I was in 5th grade when that happened)
2004 Carly Patterson won Olympic gold
2006 AHS marching band marched in Tournament of Roses parade

I don't know. That Woodlands Riverwalk might be OK after all.

I'm not talking about the poster. They once had people fishing in the Guadalupe River and had Seguin, Texas on the screen. I had never heard of the town before that. It was a beer commercial from the early 80's. Even as a kid, I remember they fly fished in the Snake River in Idaho, too. I think it was all a way to keep market share away from Coors. Coors was going national in their sales and Old Milwaukee wanted to be the nature beer. Busch was big on their nature commercials back then, too. That was right after Schiltz tried to hold off Miller and lost. If you remember, Smokey and the Bandit was about smuggling Coors from Texarkana, TX down to Florida.
