Finally FARMER has returned to......

o nevermind, I finally reached the 2K mark. Thanks to D08,yankee, DFF, Lonny and Wide. The last month or so I have posted more than ever and some of the conversations have been great. I have a feeling both Wide and I will both have over 2,000 post alone during baseball.
I just thought I would toot my own horn and pat myself on the back. Now to the frig to pop open a Bud and out to smoke a cigarette :D

The texas alumni game is only a couple of weeks away. I always love going to that. A couple years ago Roger Clemens pitched. I don't think that I will be able to go this year though. College baseball starts soon and then we will get to see how this world baseball classic pans out.

That is going to be interesting. Between the pitching of Venenzuela and the hitting of the Dominican and the superstars of the US this could be pretty exciting.

do you know how they are going to televise it? I would really like to see most of the games that the US plays. I also would like to see the US allow Cuba to participate. I mean Cuba is the current olympic gold medal holder.

I don't know about the TV, but I expect we'll be able to see it. They'll play games in Japan and Puerto Rico and several U.S. locations like Miami, the Phoenix area, and San Diego.

There aren't as many other people talking. I'm still averaging over 30 a day this year, but it looks odd when I was doing over 100/day most weeks the last 2 months of 2005.
