Shrine game practice to credentialed media only but early reports from one of the local news guys....

Taken from his e-mail I got this morning.

Reggie threw laser shot after laser shot and the WRs were actually catching the ball for him. This got everyone's attention and all the NFL suits were buzzing. Reggie then followed his intermediate passing show up with a 65 yard laser shot again that was perfectly thrown. I then saw about 50 cell phones open up and people started dialing. I asked one of the NFL guys if his 10 yard bullets were a problem and he said not at all. It's a good thing for us, less chance for a back to close on the ball. While we were talking, Reggie rolls out and airmails a 70-75 yarder and the WR can't get to it. The guy I was talking to says Jesus, how far can that kid throw? I find it funny that Reggie's go to guy so far has been Thomas.

I just thought it was interesting. It has only been one practice, though. Let's see how the week goes. Also, it seems someone withdrew for the West and now Jason Carter is one of the receivers.

Reggie is still the man. He's to good an athlete not to be drafted somewhere. Incredible speed and strength.

I can't wait to see what he does during the combine. He has the speed, accuracy, and arm strength to make it to the next level. Just needs to be more patient and gain some more size. I hope he gets a shot at QB....if not, he can definately play WR. He would be like a Randle El.

As I've said numerous times - a couple of 4.28 forties and 15-20 passes showing his strength AND touch (yes, he has both) will make Reggie a hit. No doubt he tests very, very well. He'll go from mid to late second to late third round, maybe early 4th round IMO. There's only 2-3 teams in the NFL that has their top two qb's locked down right now.

I think his sheer talent gets him in. If he continues to blow peple away in practices and combines, then he will make it. THe biggest thing holding him back is the size of his ankles!
