The Camaro Concept car was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. All I can say is I WANT ONE and I can't wait until they are sold. (If that even happens)

SWEET!
How about the Berlinetta....or my personal favorite the Beretta GT...I had one of those back in the early 90's. It was an enormous turd of a car.

Berlinetta? isnt that a version of the camero?........I had the 89 IROC.
it looks like a chysler on steroids..sorry but thats the ugliest Camaro concept design yet..they should of kept the one that was designed by an outsider who Chevy loved enough to keep it in mind..

That's a tough lookin car. My dream car was the 1969 Camaro. Here's how it was decribed. "There's a reason they call it a muscle car. Zero to 60 in 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 140 miles per hour, courtesy of a super light, super fast 430 horsepower V8 engine. The lightning hot 1969 Camaro was an instant success with the drag racing set-one of the fastest cars ever produced by Chevrolet."
this is the one im talking about.....

and im not even a Chevy fan im a Ford Truck fan but this camaro is way better looking..more muscle and modern looking as well..
Ill take this baby over any car though...

RPM, I like that orange camaro because that drawing came out BEFORE Ford designed the new mustang. Plus its a good looking car. Except for the headlights. gotta fill that open space around the circles.
Concerning the actual Concept, if they build a new camaro, it will not look exactly like that. And someone said it looks like a beefed up Chrysler, the first time I saw it I thought 300C.
true that..it almost never comes out like the concept..i was the one who said it looked like a chysler and it does..to me at least but cadillac isnt to far away either..
this design was made by an outsider but Chevy liked it enough to keep just in case..i would go with the one i posted...

I love the look of the actual concept, minus the front end. The headlights need to be bigger, and that grille is ugly. I'm loving the 21" front, 22" rear wheels. 14" disc brakes. 400 hp LS2 6.0L aluminum small block V8. 6 speed manual transmission.
If only they could put the 505hp 7.0L LS7 from the Z06 Corvette in the Camaro.
EDIT: Gotta love the estimated 30mpg highway.

12-13 years ago my dad bought a midnight blue '69 camaro rolling chassis thats it, nothing under the hood no drive line nothing. he put in all new suspension, rear shackles, chevy 350 bored to 383, port and polished head, edelbrock double pump carb, 2-speed powerglide transmission, posy-trac rear. did some other stuff that i cant think of right now, the fastest he had the scruples to go was 165, and he says it still had plenty more giddy-up left.

Have you seen the new Tahoe and Suburban? IMHO, they look great. Kinda dissappointed that Chevy went away from the 4 headlight style, but it still looks good.

I had a 86 Camaro back in high school. Almost killed myself when the back-end floated up on me at 120mph  . That was the last time I ever tried that. Still love the Camaro's but I don't have the guts to max one anymore.

I had that problem too...I had an 89 IROC and the back end would get away from me all the time.....all that engine in the front and a "Hatch-Back" was a bad idea. I did quite a few 180's going around curves.

There was a dude from Judson last year that wrecked his Mustang at 120. I think he hit a bump and lost control, then barrel rolled through a church parking lot and slammed into a tree, right on the drivers door. He didn't die on impact, but he didn't make it to the hospital.

I was blessed for sure. I was able to bring it down without doing any damage to myself or anyone else. I was stupid but God protected me. I told God then and there he would never have to save me while I was driving at that speed again. I've never even approached 100 since. I lose my nerve around 85 these days. To much to live for these days to risk it.

I don't make it a habit, but I have approached and surpassed those numbers on occasion.
I drove 100-110 MPH through New Brunswick and Nova Scotia trying to get to the ferry on time that was going to Newfoundland on July 4th weekend in 1997. I was taking the shoulder when necessary on that trip.
I routinely drove over 80-90 MPH from 1989-1997. I passed on the shoulder at 95 MPH on I-95 in North Carolina one time. I stopped speeding after a $270 ticket in Connecticut in 1997.
I drove real fast when I had to go somewhere in Kuwait. I figured the safest way to combat terrorism was to get to where I needed to go as quick as I could. I almost always drove 85-90 MPH over there. I really floored it the time we got a late call to get a couple vehicles on an Army boat (Yes, they have some). I was doing 180-190 KPH the whole way for an hour and a half. That's 112-118 MPH at all times and I would've gone faster if the vehicle would've cooperated.

Having a group of terrorist shooting at me would certainly motivate me to pick up the speed. In that case, I think God would understand.

Yeah, the Berlinetta came out around 78-79 and was in the middle of the coupe and Z28. Had a nicer interior and a slow 305.

Ahhhhhh the Charger. I had a 72 Charger that I turned into a stock car and raced. It was great. Especially since the radiator sat so far back from the grill. I have wished several times that I had that car now. Well, with the windows in it and without the roll cage.
But a girl's gotta love her truck. :)

Sure you can. And while she is here I will teach her how to play pool and appreciate John Wayne and James Bond movies. Yep, I do that too. And I will teach her that letting the wind blow through your hair is liberating and sometimes you just have to say WTF about that hair-do. And if she doesn't think the growl of an engine and the smell of grease is a turn on now, she will. LOL

Loves; Football, Muscle Cars, Shooting Pool, John Wayne & James Bond movies....if you was to run a personals add listing all of that you wouldn't even have to include a picture, men would trip over each other trying to be the first one to your house. (Of course if there's a Mr. Kitty he may not be happy with all the men asking out his wife);) ;) ;) ;)

Well I don't own a pair of clear heels. I prefer Ropers. And leather doesn't come in clear.
And the reason my name is Miss Kitty is because that is the name of my truck and it is prominently displayed on the rear side panels. So if you are in H-Town or Katy and see a Red Dodge with Miss Kitty and yellow rose on it, that would be me. No stages involved. :)

Good choice on the truck. I've had 2 Dodge's, 2 Plymouth's, and a Hyundai when I lived in South Korea. I blame Mitsubishi Motors for my Dodge truck being the worst vehicle of the five since they made it and Dodge just put their name on it.

never by a car made by one company and badged by another. The Pontiac Vibe is one of Gm's worst cars in terms of JD power and it is made by Toyota.

I can see that. They probably try to sabotage each other. I did have a Plymouth Horizon with a VW engine and that car was great. One of these days, I might buy another Horizon since it was my first car. They stopped making them in 1992.

They have a computer chip that limit them to like 168 MPH. I bet the 2006 models could top out close to 200 MPH.
