I picked White. I dont think Bush has what it takes to be a NFL back. His speed wont allow him to get the edge like he is used to in college and his size will force him to take a lot of punishment inbetween the tackles. I think Bush is going to be a bust in the NFL.

i believe white will be the better back in the nfl. hes got great speed for a guy his size. his size is going to allow him to be a better rb.

LenDale White...no question. He has the size, some good speed, and seems to be durable.

Is this a serious question? Are those serious answers? Come on, lets not let one game change our minds about perhaps the most dominating college player of all time. You pick Bush no doubt. He'll have a great career no doubt about it. Even if he fail as a RB(i doubt it) he could be a pro bowler on special teams and at WR.

Great players show up in big games...
Well Lendale showed up..........Reggie looked like the guy that stoled the Heisman.

Bush was not very good on special teams in college... I don't expect him to all of a sudden get good in the pros. His 9.94 yards per punt return ranks him around the middle third in college football and well behind the nation's leader... UCLA's Maurice Drew who averaged over 28 yards per return. Bush's 17.6 yards per kick return is so bad, it doesn't even rank in the top 100 in the nation. Oregon's Jonathan Stewart, who lead the nation in kick returns, averaged almost twice as many yards per return as Bush did. The lowest rated kick returner in the NFL this year averaged 21.7 yards per return... and he was the worst.

Oklahoma was succesfull in one aspect of their game against USC last year, and that was stoping Reggie Bush. The NFL is a different game than the college game. Things that made him great in college will get him killed in the NFL. Out of the big 3 for SC, he will have the least productive carrer. I dont see him lasting that long in the NFL.

Honestly, I like Bush and was very impressed with what he did this year. He wasn't very good on special teams and he was kinda mediocre when he was split out wide. He is much, much better catching the ball out of the backfield where he could blow by LBs and focus on getting around the safeties who are more often than not, much slower than he is. When a fast CB could cover him, he was far less effective catching the ball. However, he was an outstanding runner. He made some great plays. In the open field, he is about as dangerous as they come. Was he deserving of the Heisman? Sure. Was he the best player in the nation? Of course not.
In the end, there is a reason it's called the "Hype"sman. The award is supposed to be given to the best player in the nation but we all know that is not the case. It's all about who can get the most air time on Sportscenter and that is where Reggie won convincingly.

Yep...you pretty much summed it up there bro.
It's not the end of the world. And of course I would rather see Vince with the national title....than the Heisman.....but having both would have been freakin' sweet 'ya know? I can live with Reggie winning it.........but not by 700 votes...I will never accept that. That is just crazy.

If Reggie was not strong enough to get 20+ carries in college, how is he going to do that in the NFL.

Are you a serious idiot? It isn't just one game! He had just as many yards as Bush minus 10, and set a school record for TD's. Is that one game? You are always WAY OFF when you talk. Makes me laugh! Bush MIGHT be good in the NFL, but I am talking about RUNNING BACK. White will become a better all around back then Bush.

i dont think bush will be all that great in the nfl. he's very small and the nfl linebackers are gonna eat him alive if he tries to run outside. white maybe the better of the two because of his size but who knows until we see them play.

I love how duke takes personal shots for no reason. I also love how he uses improper grammer while taking the shots. You seem to be the idiot. Are you seriously tring to compare Whites college career to bushes? Can you say heisman? Your way off, if your tring to compare what they have done in college. You say running back in caps like receiving and blocking arnt important skills for RBs.
