Not the best quality but this was shot at the North Texas state fair in Denton. When I first started listening to Cory Morrow back around 2000 this was probably my favorite song of his.

I'm a teacher, I don't find whoopie cushions to be proper either.
Sorry, I feel SLC crossed the line on this one. When you are as computer inept as I am, you don't know how to get rid of that type stuff. I'm sure you just hit some button or something and got right out of it. I, not knowing how to do these things, had to turn my computer off to get out of his little joke. Because I hadn't (and couldn't because of his FUNNY little joke) saved material I had on another program, I lost every bit of it. Oh yeah, this was a funny joke. I can rewrite everything I lost, but I resent having to do so.
By the way svhorns ... "you got rick rolled son."

next time something like that happens b756561 just hit ctrl+alt+del at the same time and click on end task then end now... if you're using windows vista after you ctrl+alt+del click on Start task manager then click on end task then end now.

Actually I know ctrl+alt+del. I admit I'm inept, but I'm not a TOTAL loser. I tried that and it took me to "Task Manager." At "Task Manager" I hit "End Task" and it told me it couldn't stop the program. It gave me the option of going back to "Task Manager" or losing any unsaved material. The second time I tried to get out, I lost my unsaved material. Is there another way to get around this problem should I encounter another immature child's hi-jenks?
Water under the bridge. However now I'm going to be extremely hesitant before I trust anyones link to other material. It is a shame I can't enjoy this site because of some juvenile prank. My fault, I was trusting of the people on this site. My mistake. Silly me thinking I had found a site where grown-ups knew how to behave like adults. Thanks SLC, I appreciate the lesson you taught me today.

wasn't a standard Rickroll, took over the browser, wouldn't stop, resized the screen, and jumped it around. I use Firefox with Session manager. I ended up killing the browser session with task manager, then used session manager when it came back up to delete that tab.
That said, SLC it is one thing to rickroll, quite another to take over somebody's browser. Just means I am not clicking on links anymore unless I KNOW where they are going....
....and noscript is of value, but if you visit sites that require .js (more and more do), then what?

Oh, I can type, I'm just real slow at it. Maybe 40-45 words a minute. But you have to understand, I haven't always been a teacher. After I sold my businesses and retired, I grew bored. Since I already had a degree in education and since I was familiar with the field (about half my in-laws are teachers) I decided to teach. So far I have loved this second career. Kinda wish I had gone into it straight out of college. Of course there is no money in it, but I enjoy the interaction with the students. I think that's one reason why I like the_phoenix612. I deal with kids just like him 5 days a week. As he gets older he will mature and see life in a different light (phoenix that was not meant, in any way, as a put-down.) Most all of us have gone thru that stage in life.
I don't think a person my age can be around these kids all day long and not FEEL younger themselves. I like that feeling and I will teach as long as I am able to. I can still turn on a few more light bulbs.

I was thinking a hunt and peck person as well when he said what he did. What is considered a fast typter? 100 words per minute? I think back in high school when we took typing I was around 45-50 words per minute or something like that.

I learned to type the way I do because when I sat down at the keyboard, I didn't have anyone to teach me the correct method. I started with hunting and pecking but over the years I have gotten rather fast at it, although I do still pound the keyboard pretty hard. You see, a hundred years ago when I went to school there were no Keyboarding classes. Mainly because there were no keyboards. Computers hadn't been invented yet. My school had typing classes (classes where modern day keyboarding was taught) but those classes were for girls only. You see, back then men were expected to run the business and leave things like typing to their female secretaries. Home Economics classes were also for girls only. Wood shop, metal shop, drafting, classes like those were for boys only.

spread your fingers out and start hitting keys. eat through your mistakes. that's how i taught myself before i had typing classes...which is why i don't use my pinkys...which is why my typing teachers hated me.
