Colts were built for the dome.Steelers are`nt good on turf, and the noise level will be very High.Peyton gets good lead in 1st half and hangs on in the end.Of course just my opinion:cool:

I think indy will roll in this one. pitt got a lucky break against the bengals. indy wins 31-17.

I think that the Colts will be too much for the Steelers to handle. They have to stop Manning at all possible in order to win this game but I don't see that happening. I think the Colts win this game, but not like they did back in week 12 when they won in a blowout. I think they win this one 35-21.

Do not ever say the Steelers got a lucky break vs the Bengals!! The Steelers have owned the Bengals and have owned that division until they lost it this year. Both Cincy and Pitt had identical 11-5 records and both teams split. Cincyt won because of a better divisional record. Everybody knows that the Steelers would have at least went 13-3 with Ben healthy the whole year. Maddux lost a few games all by himself i kid you not. The Steelers made up for it by beating Cincy in the playoffs last week. By the way, Pittsburgh already beat Cincy by 14 at Cincy with Carson Palmer this year.
To this weeks game
I hope the Steelers can do it but i doubt it. If it was at Pitt i would think they would have a good shot but it is at the dome. The great steeler defense ( #1 ranked 3 of the last 5 years and #4 this year and #2 vs the rush, they have had a top 5 defense 9 of the last 10 years) will have to bring it and play close to perfect. I think this game will come to the end though. The last time they met this year at the Dome Ben was making his first appearance back and was rusty and the Colts rolled. I do think the Steelers have a shot but I think the Colts will win by 7 or less. I am a Big steeler fan along with my whole family. I love the Boys also. I am the only family member who likes the cowboys. We lived in Pennsylvania for years when i was a little kid.

Porter is talking smack again. I love him but man i wish he would shut his mouth sometimes. It is still kind of funny. I just think it is stupid to talk noise when you got your butt beat earlier by that same team.
A few interesting notes. Rothlesberger has is 13-1 on the road in his career. His only loss was to the Colts at the Dome this year. The Steelers are 9-1 vs the Colts in the last 10 games. Ok to the article
Colts choose their words carefully in response to Steelers

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Joey Porter can talk all he wants, but the Indianapolis Colts aren't about to get into a shouting match with the Pittsburgh linebacker.
On Wednesday, Porter criticized the Colts for playing "soft" in their first meeting this season and challenged them to play smash-mouth football in Sunday's divisional playoff game. On Thursday, Colts players responded quietly, letting the usually stoic Tony Dungy handle it.
"I'm going to have to go back and watch the tape again after what Joey Porter said because I guess I didn't see it the same way he did," Dungy said Thursday as he held a yellow videotape in his hand. "But I don't think you can beat Pittsburgh without being a tough team."
Porter enjoys jousting with opponents.
In 2004, he was actually ejected before a game against Cleveland when he and Browns running back William Green started throwing punches in warmups. When the Steelers visited Indy in November, Porter apparently taunted Colts players in warmups, too -- something the Colts later cited as motivation in their 26-7 rout.
This time, Porter started sparring even earlier. He criticized the Colts for relying on trickery to win games rather than slugging it out and called Edgerrin James' 124-yard performance in November a "cheap 100." It was the first time the Steelers allowed a runner to top 100 yards in 23 games.

"They don't want to just sit there, line up and play football," Porter told The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "They want to try to catch you off guard. They don't want to play smash-mouth football, they want to trick you. ... They want to catch you substituting. Know what I mean? They don't want to just call a play, get up there and run a play. They want to make you think. They want it to be a thinking game instead of a football game."
If Porter was hoping to trade barbs over the next few days, the Colts (14-2) weren't interested.
Most players said Porter was entitled to his opinion. Judging by their body language and facial expressions, though, it was clear they disagreed with Porter's view.
"Coach Dungy's thing is always to focus on the reality rather than the perception," left tackle Tarik Glenn said, smiling. "When we're on the field, we're who we are and we're going to go out and play our game."
The quiet approach helped the Colts set a franchise record for wins, finish with most points scored (439) and fewest allowed (247) in the AFC and gave them home-field advantage through the playoffs.
And they're not about to change now.
"We're not going to run uphill or throw when teams double cover us," Dungy said. "We try to take the path of least resistance."
Porter may not find many supporters in the RCA Dome, either.

Colts officials have asked ticket holders to avoid selling tickets to Steelers fans, regardless of the price, hoping that the blue-and-white clad crowd will make enough noise to cause problems for Pittsburgh again.
Indy fans were already upset because of accusations that artificial noise was being piped into the RCA Dome in November. NFL spokesman Steve Alic said then that the NFL never investigated.
But even the lopsided score, botched assignments and litany of Steelers penalties couldn't convince Porter the Colts were tough enough.
"If they would have outhit us, they would have just lined up, and they wouldn't have done all the audibles every play," he said. "If you want to outhit us, line up and play football. ... Line up, you get your people, we got our eight men in the box, run the ball."
All-Pro safety Bob Sanders said Porter's comments were of little concern. Glenn said all teams use different philosophies, and defensive tackle Larry Tripplett said he'd rather play than talk.
"Porter does a lot of talking, that's his game," All-Pro defensive end Dwight Freeney said. "He loves it."
So the Colts are content to let Porter keep yapping as long as they get the job done Sunday.
"I have had my guys say what's on their mind before, and I encourage them to do that," Dungy said. "That's what Joey Porter does -- a lot -- and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But I don't think it necessarily has much bearing on the game. I think there was some talking going on about 15 minutes before the last game and it didn't have much bearing on that game."

We all know about the high powered offense of the Colts and the superb blitzing defense of the Steelers, but the Colts seem to be on a mission to win for Coach Dungy, and Joey Porter is providing fuel for the Indy fire. I will pick the Colts in this must-see game.

Pittsburg got lucky against Cinncinatti because Carson Palmer went out on the second play of the game or more of those 60 yard passes would have been coming...Don't get me wrong Pittsburg has been and still are a good team but not the same this year Indy Should take this one especially in the DOME.

the steelers DID happen to get a lucky break with carson palmer tearing his knee up. cincinatti was going to win that game. it was at home, and the bengals had an offense sometimes capable of being compared to that of the colts. and john kitna only had about 30 snaps previous to this game.

With some help from the refs, this one had a fantastic finish. Steelers win by a score of 3 qtrs. to 1 qtr for the Colts. Pittsburgh was absolutely dominate on defense and Ben was superb. A black cloud now sits over Indy. I'm now 3-4 in playoff picks. Lets see if the Panthers can bring me back to even.

the bus ran a stopsign(fumble) and almost got his peeps killed( for the season)
The reversal of the Troy P's interception was larceny. Who was the replay official? Archie Manning? I guess Madden was wrong in his book in the 90's, " One knee equals Two Feet"
I'm strictly 3rd party, as a Cowboys fan

Now talk that crap on how carson palmer would have beat pitt. The steelers already beat them by 14 at cincy with c palmer so give me a break. They just beat the best team in the NFL. This game needs to be investigated omg!! I am not one to complain about the refs but you have to be kidding me on some of those calls. The interception call was absolutely crazy. all the anouncers agreed. The steelers dominated that game and it was one of the craziest games i have ever seen. the fumble at the 1 with 1 minute left?? wow!! It is all about the steelers D. They are capable of dominating anybody.
