I guess he wants to play offense!
Tyler Lee's Dinkins switches to OSU
Tyler Lee's Chris Dinkins switched his verbal commitment from T.C.U. to Oklahoma State over the weekend.
Dinkins, 6-2, 215, 4.4., who has started at safety for the Red Raiders the past two years, will be playing mainly on offense in 2009, at wide receiver and sometimes at quarterback.
He told David Smoak, "Oklahoma State is a better fit for me and I want to play in the Big XII, and I think their offensive scheme fits me better too."
Dinkins was recruited as a safety by T.C.U., but said Oklahoma State wants to look at him at wide receiver.
Tyler Lee head coach Mike Owens told Smoak, "I'm sure he can play on either side of the ball, we know what he can do on defense and we're about to find out what he can do on offense," Owens continued, "He's big, physical, and whoever gets him will be getting a good one."
