BCS=Bogus Contest Still

I hear some pundits saying that this game gave some credence to the BCS by showing that it works because #1 played #2.

Did y'all notice the Map Poll for the championship that night? The big XII states supported UT and that was about it. I contend that Texas' upset over the media's prevailing favorite provided more compelling evidence than ever...

That there should be a freaking playoff.

Play it on the field and capture the excitement of March Madness for 4 weekends in a row!!! incorporate the bowls and watch the cash come rolling in! and keep the media from influencing the championship quite so much! and oh yeah, there might be some more legends created along the way!:rolleyes:

They say the underlying reason for staying with the BCS is money. If NCAAF switched to a playoff system with lower bow games in the first round and then working your way up to say the Rose bowl in the natl championship the BCS would make more money than they could have ever dreamed.
