They have some pretty good football players this year... who will be able to step up and take them down?

I dont know if you meant "win in 2a" or what, cause they are in 1A, in fact likely the top 1, 2 or 3 in 1A this coming season.

I would say they are the odds on favorite to win the D2 title in 1A. Albany, Stratford and others are likely challangers.

If you are asking if they could win in 2A, then I think yes. They are a very solid program and could likely compete very well at the 2A level. It might take them a few seasons before they could be a title competing levels, but they are capable of doing it.

Traylon Shead isn't the only athlete Cayuga has, they have a WR committed to A&M as well. 1A isn't like 5A, one amazing skill player can put you over the top. Cayuga returns a good core from the group that finished runner up in A DII last year. I see no reason to think they can't do it. The Panhandle teams will be tough again, though.

Yep. Malcome Kennedy is a very good reciever. They will need someone to step up and take over for Broc though, having said that, they are definately a run first team with Traylon in the backfield. They have 13 or 14 starters returning, so I think, as I stated above, that they are the odds on favorites to win the D2 title.

They are the heavy favorite to win the title along with Longview in 4A. Those are the two teams that I see as having anything less than a title would be a disappointing season.
