I'm looking for good things from Celina and Prosper this season. Thats going to be one hell of a match up on October 16th. It will decide the district title, but its at Bobcat Stadium, so Celina wins this year. That Prosper defense will be stout though, as they return all 11 starters from the title winning team...offensively they dont have that luxuary due to graduating all 5 O lineman and QB Hunter Nix. Celina returns QB Cody Worrell and will need Jr. Jose Romero to help carry the load, as the Bobcats graduated their 2 very talented runners in Troy McCartney and Charley Waldrep. The Bobcats return several outstanding defensive starters.

Gilmer, Carthage and WOS are leading the pack and all 3 will be tough as nails. I think Gilmer gets a 2nd title this season, while Celina gets their 9th.

1. Gilmer
2. WOS
3. Carthage
4. Giddings
5. Celina
6. Wimberly
7. Abilene Wylie
8. China Spring
9. Bellville
10. Liberty Hill

D1 champion- Gilmer

D2 Champion- Celina

Yep, no doubt. They will certainly make the playoffs and figure to only have one loss during the season, but they wont be ready to defend their title this season. They will be tough though, its just losing all 5 O lineman would hurt anyone.

Probably, but I would not be shocked if they lose to Argyle or Sanger either.

I can definately see Argyle beating them with what they have returning from last season, but Sanger is a tougher sale for me....I think Celina, Prosper and Argyle are the 3 playoff teams from the 93 and Sanger is on the outside looking in.

Sanger has been building since Galbreath took over and they could surprise some people this year, the won't win the district but might steal a playoff spot. Argyle will be good again for sure, and with only 3 teams getting in somebody will be left out that is a pretty good team.

Abilene Wylie...sure to lose 2 or 3 games in the regular season, then make a deep playoff run

I wasn't aware his son played at Prosper. I know Deion lived there, but thats all I know. Deion Jr. played at TC-Cedar Hill.

In the top 10?...LOL...no.

With them losing an O line to graduation...I'd say they finish 2nd or 3rd in the 123 behind Alvarado for sure, with the other 2nd or 3rd team being Kaufman.

There was an earlier thread where it was noted that he has transferred to either DeSoto or Cedar Hill. I very well may have misidentified him by name.

Yes. He transfered from Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill, to Chill, following last season. He will be a soph this coming season.
