So I was making my self some lunch and when I went to grab a coke, I saw that it was actually Coke with Cherry. So I reached for another one and this time it was Coke with Lime. In frustration I reached for a regular old sprite, I got a Diet Sprite Remix to the power of Code Red instead. I cursed the coca cola company and finally realized I had a Dr. Pepper 2 liter in the garage. When I grabbed the awsome normal Dr. Pepper, a wave of Texas pride came over me like I had never experinced before. Thank God that one company refuses to follow trends and sticks with whats worked over the entire history of the company. I love that inbetween all the diet remixed with vanilla code Coke and Pepsi with Pumpkin there is one product that is NORMAL.

By the way Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper is a corporate joke so don't bring that up.

Dr Pepper tried the Red Fusion which was alright, but nothing like the good ole regular Dr Pepper. I love Dr Pepper and could drink it 24-7!:D

Dr Pepper has always been my softdrink of choice, but i'm probably one of the few who misses Red Fusion. The original is great, but Red Fusion was near the top of my list when it was still being made...

The guy who stocks our drink machine at work says they aren't going to be making the Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper line anymore. It was alright, but nothing beats the original Dr Pepper.

On this deployment, I average 5 cans a day and sometimes more. Imagine getting free Dr Pepper and how much you'd drink. My other choices are water from Russia, a few diet drinks, Coke, Sprite, Lemonade, Pepsi, and Gatorade.

I hate how all the machines in the schools are overpriced. They say there trying to get us students off sugar and all that junk but sodas cost .75 to a $1 while water costs $1.50 and gatorade is up to $2.00.

I hate to be the one to point this out... BUT.... DP has Cherry_DP and Vanilla_DP... Plus the Diet_DP, which, if you're into diet pops, is the best one.
As a huge fan of DP, I can kind of understand the frustration level though. It would seem that they would clear out all the other crap and make more room for DP.

Mr.Pibb: Not DrPepper... But good in its own right. I've noticed since I've been in Texas that it is pretty much in every store. It's not that way back in Louisiana.

My liquid diet consists mainly of diet_DP. I have a glass of chocolate milk with my eggos in the morning. A DP when I get to work. Then I get started on the diet_DP. After supper I will have 1 of 3 teas served hot. When I go to bed I carry a bottle of water with me. I manage to drink about half of it while reading and sleeping.

I have a friend who drank to many energy drinks one time and his ehart was beating a mile minute for like 4 hours and he got a nose bleed. We thought he was dying. I don't think they taste to good and I don't need constant nose bleeds so i avoid those drinks.
Mountain Dew the soda is not an energy drink but they did just come out with a Mountain Dew energy drink and yes if you drink too much of any energy drink in a short period of time it could do weird things to you.

Vanilla coke went really well in coke floats. I could never really just drink it casualy though

What about that travesty of a drink called Shasta Cola. That is terrible.

One time my friends and I were heading back home from an Astros game and we just had to stop off at this gas station to get drinks. So we stop at this gas station and two of the four of us get out of the car to go buy the drinks. When they were inside I realizsed that most of the cars were blue, and there were several blue colored flags hanging from the awning. Everyone was dressed in blue, the signs were blue, everything had a blue touch to it. The story ends with four dumb clear lake kids driving as fast as they could from like a crypt run gas station. The drinks they got were none other than Shasta Colas. That was just one long ride home.

I remember when Kyle Petty drove the Mello Yello car. I almost said something about Orange Crush. I still like DP more than those drinks. I like RC quite a bit.
