Noon on NBC from Alamodome. Anyone out there know much about it? Who all is playing from Texas-and for which team (meaning, will we be rooting for west or east?)

Texas has the most players, 17 I think, of any state. Jevan Sneed, QB from Stephenville, Moody of Coppell, Eddie Jones? from Kilgore, and a lot of others.

So Moody and Dimitri Nance will face each other once a year!!!!!! Nance will get another chance or two to outdo him. What was Moody today -15 yards rushing??? Today's game folks showed you there is just a good high school ball and players elsewhere besides Texas!!!

I thought that Sneed kid showed a helluva lot of promise. He made some damn athletic plays and some even better decisions. Didn't know he was from texas though...

Were there any players from Southlake or Katy in the game? If Dodge was the coach, you would think he would pick some of those players.

Judson Head Coach Jim Rackley was the head coach of the West. Dodge may have been an assistant, but he wasn't the head coach.

SA Madison's Chris Caflish was there, he had a 72 yard kick return. Judson does the same reverse on kickoffs. Coach calls it one way, and it goes that way. Say coach calls it to the right, and the kick goes right, the guy on the right runs left and hands it off to the other guy, who runs right. If its called right, and its kicked left, the returner fakes the handoff and runs right.

its not in "concrete" yet that he is going....even if he does, Texas is blessed with so much talent, that someone will step up and make the necessary plays...look for Texas to repeat next year, VY or not..............

Too bad Rolle caught him...Looked to me like he lost focus on the endzone...

I also did`nt like hearing that Beyer (WR SV)played in his last high school event. He`s a mid term grad, and will be in class at A&M this month,so he`ll be able to get a jump, and practice in spring football. We`ll miss him on the baseball field,at SV!

He better show some promise...He's the QB that's replacing Young at UT, isn't he.

Man, that's tough to say. Vince was such at big part of the Texas offense and now he is gone. Especially when teams like LSU, W. Virginia, tOSU, and the like return the nucleus' of the their O's. The favorite for next year has to be LSU or W.V. Georgia has an outside chance to knock off LSU but I don't see anyone hanging with W.V. offensively. They are scary talented and their defense should improve. Texas has three freshmen QB fighting with really only 2 of them fighting for a starting job. Yeah the WRs and RBs are back but someone still has to direct the offense. Think Cowboys losing Aikman for a comparison, you still a going to win games on pure talent but eventually the difference maker takes over a game and gets the win for you.

you very well may be right, brother......i still believe that nobody beats Texas next year during regular season...Texas wins Big12 once again, stays atop of the BCS and lands right back into the national title game again....VY or not---just my opinion...God knows i wish that he would have stayed, but it's too late now...another national championship, plus the Heisman---could have been a really good year:cool: ..i think we'll be alright, though..................

The heir to the throne would apparently be Stephenville QB Jevan Snead...

The link above will take you to the video of the week, which has Snead talking about moving up to the next level.

Now dont get em wrong im probablly the most die hard UT fan here...hell my dogs name is Bevo but u have to face the facts the reason UT won was because of VY and i dont think there going to be as dominate...but i do admit they will still rock.
