I have been to Odessa a couple of times and I don't recall no hills. Maybe I just couldn't see them because of all the dirt in the winds???

I once saw a poster that said ski Odessa. It had a guy on ski's on what looked like a salt flat, it looked like moonscape.

If you go about 50 miles south you see some hills though.

You know football is around the corner when you see the Psycho Football Dad in their 1979/80 Ridell Football Cleats, Billy White Shoes Johnson Knee High Socks, Dr. J Multicolored head Band, (Insert too small highschool jersey here), working out with their son in 102* heat and saying (This new fangled crap aint football, lemmie show ya how we did it back in my day!) 15 minutes later and/or 3.5 drills later an ambulance comes to pick up another heat stroke victim and another son will have been embarrassed for the entire football season!

Hope they brought spf200 sunscreen. It's really heating up out here... oh and tell them to watch for the asphalt bogs we are using as roads. Around Fort Stockton and other areas the road is actually melting. For some reason the county felt like July is a good time to seal coat. :Censor:

This has also happened in Odessa. And they are not responsible for it or for warning drivers about the hazard unless workers are actually performing the work. :rolleyes:
