Mrs. pied started watching a couple of seasons back. For some reason, I have not seen as much as she has and still don't get all the back stories. When I feel like pressing buttons I'll ask something like, "Were those two married before or was it someone else". The answer is always so convoluted that it comes out sounding really dumb and she gets mad. Not to say I don't like dumb shows myself. Suspending reality is alright from time to time.
