Shocking - the most liberal state west of Chappaquidick chose the funny democrat. I'm surprised.

they chose him in November, yet he still hasn't been seated, thanks to Coleman and Pawlenty's attempts to play some partisan politics...

Coleman won the election...the comedian demanded a recount and surprise! Somehow in a solidly leftist state they found enough votes to deny a conservative a seat! I'm shocked...:rolleyes:

Nothing unexpected here when you consider where it came from. Counting the lib senators they have 62 or 63 by now. " They have the whole gov in their hands..."

I wonder what....AL FRANKEN.... is thinking right now?
{ from an early SNL skit, with Al Franken }
I suspect he will be a much better comedian than Senator.

Does anyone remember (you kids won't I'm sure) when Franken did a skit on SNL where he was on Weekend Update and he was going on and on about how the 1980's were going to be the decade of "Me, Al Franken". He talked about how everyone would be listening to him and doing what he said and dressing like him because it would be all about him. That was at the beginning of 1980 when he was still somewhat funny. Little did we know he would be on the DestructionTrain 30 years later.
And yes, people will do what he says....strange but true.

Franken fits right in with this administration ... he's a junior senator with no experience WHATSOEVER ... (just like Obama) ... that's just what the liberals needed, one more tree hugger to help rid the USA of the few remaining meaningful jobs and light the rockets that will carry our utility bills to the sky ... (just like Obama said he would do)
... :( I actually feel my wallet getting thinner as I type this post. :mad:

Agree. I add the so called stimulus bill to their list of things that they hold all by themselves.
They can no longer blame anyone but themselves. Good luck.

are you on drugs? Coleman NEVER was declared the winner. Coleman led by 215 after election day, well within the margin to automatically recount by MINNESOTA STATE LAW. Each campaign was able to submit ballots they though were improperly counted or not counted and in January, the state canvassing board certified a Franken lead of 255. This was despite Coleman's efforts to disenfranchise troops and other absentee ballots, which his campaign thought would help Franken. Coleman then filed another appeal, which raised Franken's total to 312.
Then a court said that Franken won on April 13, but Coleman appealed to the supreme court, and Pawlenty talked about not signing a certificate unless SCOTUS said to, and then this happened and Coleman conceded.
learn to pay attention to current events.
