I'm guilty of a lot of those...so now what? Do we send the trophy back out to California, or what?

Thank goodness I'm exempt. James Street will always be James Street and one of few heroes for me.

Wide--glad my Slick Street exemption trumps 5 and 30 on the list--age does have its benefits. Do I get an extra exemption (even though I was only 9 at the time) for being at the Horns closest call in '63 when Coach Royal put QB Duke Carlisle back in at safety (pre-two platoon days) just in time to intercept Don Trull and preserve the win over the Bears?

If you know who Duke Carlisle is.....you are exempt....
And why did you dis-own Ricky?.......was it the dissappearing act? or the smoke a' 'da ghanja thing?

The skipping out on the team thing--if it was just for smoking, there's not a team out there that I could realistically support (even high school).

I can respect that...but I think he is now trying to make things right...He knows he screwed up...Now if we can just get him to shave that homeless person beard he insists on having.

Amen on the beard--but I've more or less reclaimed him since he came back--the list said something like ever disowned for any reason.

I know........I meant...dis-owned...as in.....You no longer acknowledge him as a Longhorn...
There are those people out there that did just that...totally wrote him off...as if he never did anything for the school.

Never say that name again PackAttack...bad memories...that's all I have to say about that.
To answer your question......no it does not count.

I shot "craps" with him at the Hollywood Casino, he's a cool guy.
I can't jump on the National "Bandwagon" Championship because I have been following Reggie at aTm and will follow Javorski Lane and E.J Shankle for the next few years.
I am a Houston Cougar Fan.:p

Wide, I never knew Culpepper until he came to coach at Lufkin, I had to throw that out there because he was a UT grad and All-American for the Longhorns. I was very gald when he left Lufkin in 1991, he was not a cool guy in those days. I didn't like him coaching in Lufkin at all.
Did he play with Nobis?

Now I am really confused....Why did he blare the aggy war hymn during two-a-days back when I played? And when I say "during" two-a-days...I mean...every practice...for the entire practice.

As a Red Raider fan, I still shudder at the thought of a bunch of arrogant T-sips actually having some substance behind their delusions of grandeur, but I must admit, I am having trouble not admiring the guts and determination of this team. It's great for the conference, and maybe it will keep ole Mack in town a few more years. When Vince( and that O-Line) leaves, Mack will return to being our secret weapon with his incredible knack for wasting talent.:p

Not the sand aggies, more like the fightin Zorro's
I had heard that he was still on the fence between A&M and Tech because of his Mom, and the comment earlier made me wonder if he had changed his mind back to A&M
Rashad Hunt-Lufkin signed with TT last year too.

I knew that...I did not know he was an all-american...I didn't know he played...I thought he was just a student.
I can't possibly know "everything" about the Horns..:p
So why in the world did he play the aggy war hymn over and over and over..?

I cannot answer the "Aggie War Hymn" question for you Wide, maybe it kept him motivated, who knows. Culpepper was a crazy man. He was well before my time, I was around during the Guyle Akridge and James Moffet days. They were tame next to Culpepper.
