Some of you will recall one of the most powerful teams of all time with a double digit winning streak (26 games I believe), going for their third national title in a row when they met The University of Texas back in 1996. They suffered the same fate as the Men of Troy...

congrats on the national title. however that Nebraska team Texas defeated in 1996 had their win streak sanpped the 2nd game of the year by Arizona State. They were something like 9-1 going into the Texas game.

Damn, good call.
However, don't try and continue a streak against Texas. They eneded, Nebraska's huge home winning streak a few years ago, they ended Ohio State's home winning streaks this year as well as USC's 34 straight.

Yeah they ended Nebraskas winning streak at home not once but twice. I also believe they ended the aggies home winning streak in 95. You are defintely right when you call them streak busters.
