Based on last year and returning players, I would switch Oak Ridge and Conroe.

ORHS - 3
Conroe - 4 or 5

Wow, you really are long-winded. It's a quality wind, though.

I noticed a couple of minor errors. North Mesquite are the Stallions and not Mustangs and you also put Richland in the dsitrict enrollment in two districts and left Summit out.

I have higher hopes for the year based on what I have seen.:ninja:

still dont agree with the westwood pick, always overated in the pre-season. also if anyone on SP is going to be the defense MVP it'll probably be CB KEvin White although Jordan Wade is gonna be a heck of a player too

How was the feedback from the 14-5a coaches overall while you were doing your research on that district? Just curious.

Pretty much agree with everything except I would have had ORHS higher up. My guess is you guys did not think there was a whole lot separating CHS, CP and ORHS anyway.

That is a lot of starters returning for Westwood. I'm interested to see how they do this year. Could surprise.

I'd have to agree with you here. I would have put RR in there instead of WW. I still have high hopes for next year although they got it right with losing 41 seniors last year. I see this as being a year we truly contend for that last playoff spot. Or have a rebuilding year with a lot of Soph's and Juniors gaining experience next year. As well as a good load of seniors who want it as bad as anyone else in the district.

Westwood is returning a lot more than Round Rock is.

We shall see.

Yea Westwood is returning more starters but there always overhyped so i dont expect them to make the playoffs but you never know

And i agree with you STPFootball2011..Jordan Wade will be a GREAT player and a huge D1 prospect in a couple years but if anybody is the mvp of the that SP defense its gonna be cb Kevin White..hands down the best player and playmaker on the team

I sure hope you didn't mention injuries in any of the reviews because we know FF will jump on those the same way he jumped on the Carroll review.

Can't have any excuses now can we?

You're correct. All three are pretty interchangeable.

Conroe beat ORHS by a pretty big margin, lost to CP by 3.
CP beat Conroe by 3, lost to ORHS.
ORHS got beat by Conroe, beat CP.

So who really knows :D

The feedback was decent, could have been better. probably had the least feedback from this district in all of Regions 1 and 2 (including District 1).

As compared to Region 1 and 2, Region 3 needs to step their game up quite a bit. :)

I sure hope so. It's not fun having your boys that low. The district is definitely ripe for a darkhorse though. This would be the year to get back on the scene.

By the way, appreciate all of the discussion so far. I'm just catching with it since I posted the preview.

Apologize for calling the Stallions the Mustangs, honest mistake there. I obviously know they aren't the Mustangs :)

I'm sure you guys missed where I called Temple the "Owls" because I fixed it so quickly...I noticed that right after I posted the stuff. I had to laugh at that. I'm just glad I didn't reference the coach as John Chaney (college basketball fans).

I can definitely be accused of following too many sports. :)

Region 2 is loaded but RR Stoney Point is really loaded this year. Region 3 is a cakewalk for div. 2 as Katy walks their way to semi finals.

Thou shalt not forget cedar park in region II. We also have some horsepower under the hood and great coaching.

amen brother! But he's got the Wolves at number 10 in the region which until we see how the offense produces is probably about right.
