3* WR Nate Askew of SA Madison. AggieYell 125 (39), Lone Star 100 (27). Offers included Okie State, Texas Tech, Florida State, Arkansas.
Solid pickup at a position where the Aggies have some young talent in the pipeline or on the field (Jeff Fuller, R. Tannehill, U. Nwachukwu).

Yaahooo!
This guy has the potential to really be something. I have seen him play, and all that I can see, is he just needs to keep developing. Be more consistant, as it were. He's got wheels, really good size, and pretty good hands/concentration.
At least against SV, he does. I have seen him in other games, and he seems to have lapses of concentration. This can be remedied!
If he chooses, and can do it, let him put on about 25 lbs. Put him at Tight End. Might lose a tenth, but still dang fast, and a definite LB mismatch, and probably a lot of Safeties mismatch!
Congrats, Nate!

I love his size and physical tools. I envision him as a hybrid TE/IR. I am not sure if I would want to groom him to be a pure TE, though. Fuller and Nwachukwu are both great deep ball threats, with Askew and Tannehill providing nice options as possession recievers. Askew is going to be able to outjump and out athlete most defenders that try to cover him.

This kid is NOT a tight end, he's an X receiver, and a damn good one at that.
Really, really excited about him.
