Mack: Vince will be back
By Staff | Tuesday, January 3, 2006, 07:04 PM
The last word is a good word. Texas Coach Mack Brown said he fully expects junior quarterback Vince Young to return to school for his senior season. “I’ve got no doubts,” Brown said. “I haven’t asked him every day, but I expect Vince and Justin (Blalock, junior offensive tackle) to be back. I expect both of them to have press conferences and announce it.” Brown then added, “I hope I’m coming back. Nobody’s asked me if I’m coming out early.”

I read that in Mack Brown's entire coaching career he's only had one player leave early, and that was 15 years ago back at UNC.
I have faith that Vince will be back.

If they win , and I hope they do, Vince should hit the road. What would he have to prove when millions will be waiting on him. Could come back and get hurt. You can alway come back and finish school in the off season.

Got to agree withyou there. It would be selfish of us as fans to expect him to come back when none of us would do the same.

after looking at the draft order I really feel that Vince will Leave. Vince's mentor is Steve McNair, whose Tennessee Titans team own the third pick in the NFL draft. I think that they will promise Vince that they will take him if he comes out, so he can spend a year studying with his mentor and then take over the reins the next year. There is also a possibility that Bush may pull an Eli Manning and say he won't go to the Texans, leaving them with the opportunity to grab their home town hero.

That's why he will be back. They won't win and he wont look good in losing. However at worst he would be the 3rd in the draft. I wonder how much difference it would be wainting for ayear?
