CyfallsMom, would you help me put together this 'Young at Heart' team. Maybe we could have 2 or 3 practices at Cullen on Barker Cypress and I-10. Or we could go north and practice closer to 290. Maybe have the team get together at Chilies and chat after practice.

Any one from around the West Houston, Cypress, Katy, Sugar Land area interested in being on this team please post so we can get together. Maybe get a practice in and a bite to eat.

Winning it all is not our goal. Having a great time is.

well, I guess since I have a softball playing daughter, I could be a coach too - since I "coach" from the stands sometimes anyway!! I'm not as bad as some though;)

All those Cy Falls people who were logging in a few weeks ago need to join us! And the Katy and Strake people too....I'll do what I can from my end. I think we could get a GREAT team together!!

Strake!!!! When have I ever ambushed you:) :) You would be most welcome to be on our team!! Just be prepared - I coach like JoePa!! Can you believe he's 79 and he's in the Orange Bowl with a #3 team no less - let's hear it for the Greatest Generation!!

I was initially thinking Dodgeball or Kickball would be fun too but Softball works for me as well...speaking of which - my daughter got her VARSITY uniform today:D We are very excited about it too.

I think there is a sports bar on Barker Cypress just north of 10. I could be available next Sunday the 15th. Does that date work? If so please respond and let's plan on it.
