WOW!!! Who is going to be able to stop Denton Ryan's Offense this year!!! It looks like they will have the best 4a offense in the state this year. If they can come up with some turnovers on the defensive side they could be state champs this year

Not sure if they'll be state champs because, Longview, Carter, and possibly, their rival Guyer, may have something to say about that. But, you do have a point by being excited about their offense. Young threw for 65 touchdowns last year and, if I'm not mistaken, all of his weapons are back.

The Raiders will be fun to watch this year!

Pretty sure they can only go D2, but good thoughts.

Believe Ryan can only go D2 if the Colony and Guyer both make it.

Ryan gave up 30 or more points 9 times last season. Until they fix that...don't count on any State Championship.

Midway is suppose to be ready next year. Waco is bringing in a new coach but, everybody connected to Waco High is pretty excited.

I'd watch out for University in that district, as well as Ennis.

Nope. Probably thinking about the year before that. Although I wouldn't exactly call it a shootout. It was something like 56-35.

You know, it might've been the Sherman/Ryan game or, the Sherman/Denison game. For some reason, I remember it happening atleast twice in that district last year.

Sherman beat Lake Dallas 61-54 last year. Denison beat McKinney 65-64. We are no longer in a district with Ryan.

Ryan also scored 50 or 60 points 9 times last year!! people were tryin to score to keep up with ryan so hey you will give up points.

Lot of good offenses and bad defenses made for some high scores.

Either, they all had bad defenses or, it could've been the Big12 South of high school, and everybody just had outrageous offenses. I'm ready to see what Waymon James is going to do at TCU. He put up good numbers at Sherman.

Don't forget about Ennis, they only lost one contributing player last year and have one hell of a coach.

All those weapons!! Also ryan had a young defense last year. So now those guys have a year of varsity experience up under their belts

It was just one of those districts where u better bring an offense off the bus or your feelings are going to be hurt!!! Sometimes there are districts that just have that feel!!!

Kansas State is getting a good one! I heard that former Waco High RB Louis Fite, is Hubert's dad. Keyword: HEARD! I wouldn't be surprised though! He does have the genes!
