Did anyone see the drop kick Doug Flutie made in the NE-Miami game? Now there's one for the highlight reel. That could possibly be Flutie's last play in the NFL. What a way to go out!

Chiefs roll over Cincy, but its to little to late, as Pittsburgh wins to get the final playoff spot in the AFC. For the Chiefs, its a would've, could've, should've, season. Dick Vermeil says, "I'm done". I will be interested to see who his replacement will be! Larry Johnson rushes for 201 yds.

Miami hangs on to win its 5th game in a row to finish the season. They should contend for a playoff spot next season.

Is it week 17? If so, excuse me, I'm an oldtimer. I just figured, 16 game schedule means 16 week season. Give the NFL time and I guess we will see a week 20, so they can play right up to spring training in baseball.

Did anyone see Chris Bermans "Swami Sez" bit. He picked Philly over Washington. I will have to go with the Redskins.

Does anyone know what the Cowboys need, besides a win to get into the playoffs.

Carolina won so it's down to:

Cowboys tie and and a Redskins loss.

Cowboys win and a Redskins tie or loss.

Yes, the bye week gives the NFL more weeks to make money off of TV.

I bet he does too! I wonder if he will get to pick his replacement? Better be a good one! Chiefs need to re-sign their all-pro free agents inorder to even have a chance next season. Their offense is getting old and their defense needs serious improvement.

All in all his last 2 comebacks have done a lot to show he's a pretty good coach. I don't think his resume was complete with the time he had in Philly.

Swami might be right about this one. Philly is up 17-7, late in the 2nd qtr.

During halftime of the Eagles Redskins game, Troy Aikman and Joe Buck were talking about the NFL expanding the playoff teams from 12 to 14. This is the first I've heard on this subject. Is their any truth to this, or is it just media speculation?

Dick Vermeil announces his retirement from the NFL! Whose next, Brett Favre, Jerome Bettis, Bill Parcells? Anyone else you know of? These people have had great careers in the NFL.
