In softball for the 2nd time in school history...hilarious maybe we need to put some of these girls on the football team. Apparently they know how to win

Grats SV! However, I'd also like to through out a kudos to Plano East who was a #4 seed and made it to the semi-final round.

New Braunfels Canyon softball also won state in 4a... making it a Comal ISD sweep in the two largest classifications. Athletic Director Larry Hill is a happy man.

SV's softball program is pretty awesome.
Oh and Hill is just the AD for SV not NB Canyon-right?

... maybe not. You don't have Woodlands or College Park in your school name. So you should be ok where you are. As are the 2 other track threads.

Congrats! I love watching softball; the pitching is intense and the speed is amazing. You must be proud of those girls....

Yes awsome!
SV scored the lone run on a squeeze play by a freshman, that scored a freshman. The same freshman that scored the winning run in the 10th in the state semi, the day before.
Congrats Girls. To NB Canyon also. Both were #1 in the state going in.

Plano East has never won a state championship in any UIL sport in 28 years. East lost to SV 0-1. Excellent job SV!! Way to keep the Plano East curse alive!!!

yep-same one but she was on the playoff roster and everything was done on the up and up per UIL rules-just in case anyone was wondering:)
Not sure she was in the stands-thought she was in the dugout just not in full uniform. Doesn't matter she scored anyway-must be quite a thrill for a freshman seeing their first varsity action.

Oh, I was rooting for an SV win... and now that SV won, that's why I'm throwing out a kudos... gotta keep it cool. :D
I am sure the Football Title will happen soon.
2004 was the last chance we had the teams the next 3 years after that were good enough but now it's just not going to happen
