I just happened to find this while searching for something else online. I'll put it here so you guys can dream up your own circumstances as to how much a Ref makes at whatever game circumstances you can dream up. I got a couple for you to get you started.
1. A Ref at a Six-man game with 100 attendance and an average of $3 per person, would have gate of $300, and would get paid $50 for the game.
2. A Ref at a 5A Regional Final with an attendance of 20,000 and an average of $8 per person, would have a gate of $160,000, and would get $680 for the game. ($160,000 - $20,000 = $140,000 divided by $5,000 = 28 multiplied by $20 = $560 + $120 = $680)
Have fun boys and girls!!!
Sorry this chart didn't copy and paste right. Read the chart down first, then go back to the top and read down again. The number to the left is the gate receipts and the number to the right is the wage paid for that range.
