Well, obviously the numbers don't lie! You got guys like Matt Cassel, who didn't even start the whole time he was at USC.

How do you leave out Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart?

High probability you'll fail to meet expectations as a professional = USC

These guys are talented, no question, but they benefit from playing with one another too much and just don't pan out like you would think. For whatever reason USC has not been able to replicate what Miami did. Miami fielded professional rosters, basically, for years and many of those guys went on to dominate the league. At SC they just fail to flourish at the next level many times, especially offensive players. Take a list of Carroll players that have been drafted, take moment to reflect on the collegiate accomplishments and then look at their pro careers. Much like Carroll's, their often underwhelming.

Go take a look at the rivals rankings since about 2003. The high probability is the fact that if you were recruited to go to USC you were probably apart of the best recruiting class that year by any team. It makes perfect sense that they would put more people in the NFL than any one else. What surprised me was how high Ohio State was up that list. But i guess looking back on it, it makes sense that a guy like Troy Smith would win the Heisman trophy when hes throwing to 3 future 1st round picks.

THIS!

Especially on the offensive side of the ball. It may be because the money isn't as good in the NFL as it is a SC, and the guys just aren't as motivated :D:D:D

I can't stand USC. OK, I feel better now. It was GREAT to see the horns win the crown on the road a few years ago. USC stinks... eh, just cuz I feel that way! :D

Who wouldn't want to go to college at SC, get a great education, and play for a coach like Pete Carroll? If I could go anywhere, SC would definitely be in my top five.

there's quite a big difference between high probability and higher than other colleges......probability.

I can testify with proof, that this is true. She came a little after 9 months later when it happened to me.
