well down by 30+, obviously they've given up.

clearly the ACC isn't the power that the media thinks they are

both really.

The ACC, and the Pac 10 for that matter is terribly overated.

The bowl season so far has proved that the SEC, Big 10, and Big 12 are clearly the elite conferences.

(Oklahoma beating #6 Oregon, the Pac-10's second team? PLEASE.)

good point. georgia tech was a better team than utah but they didnt show up or even look excited. and for that, they got the crap beaten out of them.

As I stated on another thread, the Big 12 is in the drivers seat for the BCS Conference trophy. We need Iowa State to win (sorry TCU) and Texas to win. Big 12 is now 4-1 and Colorado didn't get embarrassed in their loss.

Another ACC fraud is exposed.

So now, let the excuses from the east and left coasts begin for their teams' horrible bowl performances. If a team can't show up to a bowl game to represent themselves and their conference then..... THEY ARE NOT A GOOD TEAM.

Today Mizzou came back against a favored SEC team to beat Carolina. Big 12 is 4-1 and leads in the hunt for the bowl trophy. Regardless of anything else, Big 12 will finish no worse than .500.

Miami played terribly against an SEC team and got rolled, further exposing the ACC for what it is. Florida State beating VaTech was no fluke either.... the ACC is just full of mediocre teams. Miami was overrated, so was VaTech, so was FSU, so was Boston College. The WHOLE DANG CONFERENCE WAS OVERRATED!!

The Big 10, Big 12,and SEC are the nation's elite conferences. Unfortunately, their teams play in places like Auburn, Alabama, Happy Valley, Penn. , and Norman, Oklahoma. That is why the media won't pay attention.

Doesn't Texas Tech need to win too?

If UT and Iowa State both won, the Big 12 would still have the best winning percentage by virtue of the number of teams they sent to Bowl games. I think a TTU win is more likely than an Iowa State win though.

I think Tech and Iowa State will both win...

Who has TCU beaten besided OU during the first week?

And we all know Bama' has a great defense and should give TT fits, but can their offense outscore Tech? I really dont think they can without Prothro. Tech has an underated defense, and they can stop that Bama offense.

Yes, thank you. I thought I was leaving someone out. Sorry about that. The Big 12 has 8 teams in bowl games, pretty impressive wouldn't you say. Shows how tuff the Big 12 is.

bama is also coming off a two game losing slide against LSU and Auburn, both Top 25 teams. They are 2 - 2 against Top 25's, and average 17 points a game against those four teams (23 pts a game overall). Now Tech has only played one Top 25 (Lost to Texas 52 - 17) but they average 42 points a game. Although Alabama has a great defense, I just dont think they'll be able to contain the Tech offense enough.

i go to auburn...and i witnessed the auburn alabama game first hand..alabama sucks...they didnt gain a yard of offense the entire first quarter and punted from there endzone every possesion they had in the first quarter... Tex Tech should route..

i went to the peach bowl now that my parents live in the Atlanta area and let me tell you i went in with the full expectation of seeing miami route LSU...but during warmups i changed my mind LSU came out flying from the start and it seemed Miami, including there fans, never gave a damn.

Now im one that hates when people throw the word classless around, but im going to use it now. I have been around SEC football my entire life. Ive played under todd dodge and have learned how to win and loose with class. Miami has the WORST fans ever. I was sittin about 6 rows up from the Miami sideline. At the beginning of the game everyone was excited then when LSU started pulling away the miami fans started taking there miami colors off! They also put brown paper bags over there face with fire coker writtin on it holding signs up with U of M...Univ Of Mediocrity..keep in mind this in clear sight of the players. I also witnessed a few miami fans yelling at there own players from about 5 feet away for not cheering the defense on while they the fans were sittin down the entire game. Now im not one to say what good and bad football is...but that cant be good. I will never attend another Miami game, i will never watch another miami game, and i will certainly route agains any ACC team because i truly believe they may be the most overrated conference.

I don't like Miami fans and I've seen them play in person. Of course there are some other teams I don't like either. I do like Oklahoma State fans.
