I am drinking a Mexican Coca Cola that I found at our HEB. It is made with real cane sugar and is contained in a nice, thick, half-liter glass bottle that got nice and frosty in my fridge. Epic win for me.

Between Mexican Coca Cola and Dublin Dr. Pepper it is a tough call.

squeeze some valley lemon in there, and a bit of salt on the lip and you have THE most delicious drink IN THE WORLD!

Did they ever get a slate of games set? I heard lots of smoke but no fire. If you have one, post it. I want to go to a Harlingen game this year, I didn't make one last year.

it's pretty chitty. san bene vs. cc ray and san antonio highlands vs. someone in SB and 2 games in mission that i don't care about.

gantt pretty much said, this was the best they could do this year, but since next year is redistricting, they should be able to pick up better quality teams.

If I make it to any game it will be the HHS-EE rematch or the Battle of the Arroyo.

Dude, you will never know the excellence you are missing out on. Keep drinking your American cokes out of plastic with HFCS, and I will enjoy the clean taste of real sugar and Coke served the way it's meant to be, in a heavy glass bottle.

Cola is for babies. I drink beer.

All kidding aside, all drinking products taste better to me in glass bottles. I was raised in the 60's drinking milk and soft drinks in glass bottles. Cokes and beer in cans still tastes awful to me. I wish 'they' would start bottling water in glass. Glass is GREEN.

In Mexico they reuse the glass bottles several times...that has to be better than endlessly cranking out plastic.

What is your preferred chilled beverage delivery method? I usually use a glass with ice or some sort of bottle. Maybe we should all go to the Coke factory with our hands cupped.

idk. being it's the first game under gantt's new regime, i wouldn't look past a loss to ray. especially considering san bene didn't make the playoffs last year in a really weak district.

Glass is the ultimate recyclable. It can be cleaned to a sterile state and reused as is or melted back down and used in food/beverage packaging again.
Or used for road surfacing, drainage, countertops, etc.

Unlike plastic, which can be reused, but not for food containment as I understand it.

And all that from sand, soda, lime, and heat.

Imagine all the savings in both resources and landfill spaces we could reap if we just used glass bottles for milk, juices, and soft drinks. We could require a deposit on the bottles (remember those, old guys?) and they could be recycled/redeemed at the same grocery store where we buy the milk, juices, and soft drinks in the first place.

Makes you go hmmmmm........
