Just wanted to see what some of you think is the best Trio in college football on either side of the ball.

I think Oklahoma state has the best Trio on offense with Hunter, Robinson and Bryant. All three have been mentioned at one point in time as Heisman candidates for this upcoming season. Hunter and Bryant are possibly the best at their position in the country. So far some people are blowin off OSU getting alot of hype I dont know its gonna be hard to stop these three. Hunter and Bryant more then likely will be done playing college ball after this season and both look like locks in the first round.

As far as defense goes maybe this is a homer pick but I love The Longhorns Trio at LB this season led by Sergio Kindle, Jared Norton, and Rodrick Muckleroy. Ill take this unit of LB's over any other unit in the country. I think Kindle is the best of bunch and is my preason pick as defensive player of the year in the Big 12

Okie Lite is in first by a wide margin .

Bradford, Gresham, and Murray will suck less than the rest of OU.

Jefferson, Scott, and LaFell could be potent down in Death Valley.

USC could have a decent trio with someone on the outside. McKnight was lost last year, he could have a big year with whoever the heir is at QB.

And don't forget His Highness with Demps/Moody, and whatever flash-in-the-pan receiver they'll have.

is it really possible?

Certainly. Not all parts have to suck equally to produce the suckage that is ou.

I drove from Tulsa back to Euless yesterday and went through OKC and Norman and the construction on 35 sucked bad just south of OKC and through Norman. Nothing worse than sitting in traffic on a hot afternoon.

I was in OKC and Tulsa last week. I went down to the casino south of Norman and the traffic did suck big time through the construction zone.

If I'm lucky I'll be heading back up there very soon. My buddy who lives up there had me go 75 one time which I knew was wrong. I hate going 75 throuhg Texas up to Atoka and hitting the Indian Nation. Too many small towns. When I left last Wed morning to head up there I made it to Tulsa in right at 4 hours and 10 mins from Euless by going 35 to 44.
Do you have any ways to avoid the freaking tolls? Man paying $3.50 on the Turner Turnpike or whatever 44 is really sucks. Like I said I may be heading up there as soon as this weekend if my cards are played right.
Thanks.

She's a native Texan. Just lived in Tulsa since she was 5. You're a smart man Pied. She is not an OU girl either. teaches dance at the studio where one of my best friends sends his daughter. We met there about a month ago and hung out this past weekend. She even got me to go into a Starbucks for the first time. :Censor:

The eventual Mrs. Bird was not a dancer but a pianist. I enjoy classical music more than dancing shows, so score one for me.:)

Hmmm watching the incredibly hot dancers or listening to Shostakovich. I love Dmitri, but for a random Monday night, I'll go with Kym Johnson.

Actually I do not know what I ordered. I had to have her explain the menu to me and tell me what the things were or meant. It was a frozen drink with strawberry or something in it. I think she was somewhat stunned and embarssed that I had never been to one before and was not up to par on the coffee lingo. She didnt like the fact that I made fun of Sean Hannity too. She loved Sean and I made the mistake and had to laugh at that. Oh well.

Farmer does not dance. Farmer is intimiadated at the thought of possibly having to learn how. Especially from one who has stuided under a very good Eastern European woman. She has been at the same studio dancing or teaching for the past 22 years.
She does enjoy a beer and hot dog at a ball game but farmer had to be careful in how he responded to that. ;)

I ain't going to lie. That was the most surreal thing I've ever seen at a game. I even thought about joining in. I don't know how to explain being the #2 team in the land, being basically 1 game from playing for a national title and seeing it go down in flames like that.

If you want slow, try driving from Big Cabin to Muskogee on 69. It's 35 and 45 much of the way and you have plenty of towns.

Your only decent choices are 75 or 35 to 44. I've been all over the roads of OK and you're just going to go slow in many places.

I might be right there with you in the culture game pretty soon. I don't know yet if the woman who dresses for comfort likes me (Nor the future CPA or woman who has a Master's degree), but the one who enjoys dining in nice restaurants does. Then again, I think she makes more money than I do and that's a good thing!:D
