No news is bad news? Could it be there was nothing good to report?

I went. It was pretty bland. They've got a couple of talented linebackers that I was impressed by. Their QB is still good. Their RB that is replacing Swope isn't as fast, but he looks like a bruiser with a little bit of breakaway speed. He broke off a long TD run up the middle.
The offense was simple. Shotgun 3-wide mostly, and they ran it almost every play I saw. Not too much airing it out that day.
I saw at least 2 PATs blocked, but one of their kickers hit a 47 yard FG.
You're probably not hearing much because there wasn't anything spectacular. Just a solid practice.

We only got there for about the last quarter. The difference in the passing game was the most noticeable thing. We were certainly missing Mike Walker, our top receiver of last year, and some strong tight ends we've had in recent years!
We've never had spring practice or a spring game before--at least not in twenty some-odd years--so I don't think most of us amateurs know what to expect. And I'm a just a fan.
