Yes, you destroyed Tech. It's true he cried his way into the BCS. His brother also votes in the Coaches Poll. Cal would've beaten Michigan in the Rose Bowl. They didn't come ready to play Tech and that's why they got beat. That win over Michigan didn't show me anything out of Mack Brown because they beat an 8-3 team that had just lost to Ohio St.

The 2005 Longhorns might be a great coaching job by Mack. I still think most of it is the phenomenal talent they throw on the field. Mack gets his chance in the Rose Bowl this year to show he's capable of winning a big game because of his coaching and not because he has far and away the best talent.

Hey, I said UT will win the game against USC. I said about 2 months ago that UT was a team of destiny.

Your coach can't go from choker coach to Knute Rockne in one year. It's your boy Superman that's doing it for him.

I can't help it's the truth. Winning is a team effort. It takes some from the head coach, the assistants, the players, the trainers, the scouts, and the recruiters. I'm just saying the weak link in 40 acres is the head coach. Maybe ol' Mack will make me change my mind, but he's going to have to win this week to make me start changing my mind.

I'm sure not a closet aggie. I already said they're a closet racist school and I hate the Bryan-College Station area. I don't like the pompous puke orange 'horns any better in liberal Austin. I will root for both teams against outsiders just because I'm proud of Texas. I like and always will like Houston and Texas Tech.

It sure has nothing to do with jealousy because I've said many times that UT has underachieved for a long time.

I don't resort to trashing other teams to make mine better. When Judson loses, I say good luck and you guys deserved to beat us. I have a lot of respect for teams that win a lot. I have a huge amount of respect for how good UT is this year. It makes me mad that Mack Brown kept his job as long as he did. They should've fired him last year and hired Urban Meyer.

So... you dislike one of college football's most successful programs and one of the nation's largest and best universities because of maybe a dozen fans who happen to post on a high school message board? Are you really serious? That's as absurd as me hating all Asian people because I once got sick after eating an egg roll.

No, I didn't like them to start with. I just dislike them more because of people around here. It all starts with the fact that I'm a blue collar guy and I'm not going to root for the white collar university. When I went to school, the people with stuck-up attitudes wanted to go to UT. That is what my general perception of a lot of UT grads has been for years. Hey, I'm a conservative guy and I can't root for the most liberal public university in the state. I'm keeping it real. I'm also an outsider and I don't always go with the flow with the rest of the crowd. I think orange is an ugly color and that's kept me from rooting for UT.

Hey, I'm a loyal guy. My uncle played pro football, but he went to UH. That meant I was going to like UH in the SWC. In the mid-80's I started liking Tech more and more. I think it all goes back to the fact that I should've been born in the Panhandle and my parents and grandparents lived up there for so long. It's only right that I root for Tech. Besides, I hate that everybody automatically thinks you have to be a Longhorn or Aggie.

At the end of the day, I'm loyal to the state and I will root for Texas teams when they play outside the state. I just don't root for the big boys within the state.
